I opened my eyes and raised my head, realizing that I had fallen asleep while in the middle of finishing my drawing. Another thing that I had realized was that I was now lying on my side and a blanket was covering me. I sat up and looked around, confused at first since I forgot where I was. I pulled the blanket off of my lap and dropped it next to me on the sofa as I slipped my shoes on.

"Morning." Aizawa said as he looked up from his phone, "Well, I suppose that it's actually afternoon now, so good afternoon."

He startled me since he was so quiet that I forgot that he was there. "Yeah." I said in a tired tone.

"You know you could have slept more back at the apartment."

I stretched, "I know, but when I came back here and I was drawing, I had fallen asleep."

"I figured so. Didn't you sleep at all during the night?"

I looked down as I said quietly, "No, not at all."

"Why not."

"Just...so mad at myself."

"Really, you have to take it easy. You are way too hard on yourself." he put his phone away as he stood up, "I'll go get something for us to eat."

I stood up as I said, "Wait, I made something before I left the apartment." I went to the side table that had the rice balls, my phone, and my sketchbook and pencils. I picked up the container that held the rice balls and brought them over to him. "They're rice balls...I'm not that good at making them, but I hope that they're edible at least."

He took the container as he said, "How many did you make? Enough for the whole ward?"

I scoffed, "Yeah, sure...there's only twelve though."

"Enough for the whole hospital." he added. I turned around to go back to the sofa, but I was then stopped, "Come back here, you're going to start with three." I stopped walking and turned around on my heel before walking back to take a rice ball. Once I took one, I continued walking to the sofa and took a seat. I began to eat as he said, "You know," then paused to turn towards Yamada and gently removed the hearing aid that was the closest to him.

"Why did you do that?" I asked.

"So he doesn't wake up. He needs the sleep."

"But doesn't he have another one?"

Aizawa shook his head, "Not anymore; it broke during the fight." I quickly tried to finish the rice ball. "Slow down, don't make yourself sick."

I finished the last bit as I said, "I'm not."

"Why are you in a rush?"

I didn't say anything. I put my hands together and concentrated on making another hearing aid to replace the other that was broken. I removed my left hand that was covering my right, and revealed the replacement. I held it up, "Did it look something like this?"

Aizawa sat the box on the side of the bed and finished eating what little he had before he stood up and walked towards me with bewilderment. "This is exactly what it is." he said as he looked at it closely before looking to me, "How did you get it? It was broken in hundreds of tiny pieces out on the street."

"I generated it. It should work like the other one."

He began walking back to his chair next to the bed and sat it by the other one. "Zashi's going to be so glad to have another one instead of hearing through only one ear. He won't get a headache so I don't have to listen to him complain." He took another rice ball and said, "Now, back to what I was going to say earlier; you know, he was able to hear us talking when we first arrived."
