I woke up the next morning fairly close to nine. I got out of bed and stretched as I thought about how well of a rest I had. I looked to Melody and saw that she looked well rested as well. I gave her a smile as I petted her back before turning around and going to the bathroom to get the day started. I took a quick shower, then used the blow dryer on my hair before flat ironing it. I then walked out and down to see what Aizawa and Yamada were up to. When I got to the main area of the apartment, I saw that they were still at the table with the blankets still draped over their shoulders. Yamada looked half dead as he kept on working on correcting papers while Aizawa was still asleep.
"You look like you need sleep, like, majorly." I said to Yamada with a concerned expression on my face.
He waved his hand as he kept his eyes on the paper, "I'll be fine, I need to finish this first."
There was silence for a moment before I asked, "Is there anything I could do to help?"
He thought about it before looking up from his paper, "I was going to run to the store to pick up some groceries. You could do that if you'd like."
"Sure, I'll go do that then" I said.
"The list should be on the counter in the kitchen somewhere." he said as he craned his neck to see into the kitchen.
I went to go see if I could find the list. After seeing that it wasn't on the counter, I then opened a few drawers before I found it lying on top of a cookbook. I picked it up and read it. It looked like all I needed to get was some eggs, fruits and veggies, along with a few other cooking materials. I folded the note up and tucked it in my pocket as I walked out of the kitchen.
"Did you find the list?" Yamada asked.
I nodded my head, "Yeah, so I'll be back in a bit. Text me if you think of anything else that you guys need."
"Thank you very much for doing this, and thanks for the blankets." he said as he sat down the paper he was looking at, then grabbed another one.
"Yeah, no problem." I said as I stood in the entryway before turning around to go up to my room to grab my purse and one of my larger backpacks. I went back down to the door to put on my shoes and hollered out as I put my hand on the doorknob, "Alright, I'm on my way."
"Be careful!" he yelled out before I left.
As I stood on the stoop, I debated whether I should teleport to the store or walk. Since it was quite nice out, I settled with walking. I went to the train station and waited for the next train to arrive. I could have walked there, but getting there by this means of transportation would go faster and it would be less effort. Once it arrived, I boarded the train and found an open seat that had no people in that section of the car. Before the train left the station, Midoriya joined me.
"Oh, hi, Y/N!" Midoriya said in a happy tone as he sat down with a bouquet of yellow and white flowers.
I tried to smile, "Hello."
"What brings you to take the train? I feel like I haven't seen you on one of these in forever." he said.
I took my backpack off of my shoulder and sat it on my lap as I said, "I know right? I'm on my way to pick up some groceries."
"Cool, we did that yesterday for the dorms after we watched the press conference." he said.
"It was televised already?" I asked.
He nodded his head, "Yeah, it was live." He then added quietly even though we were the only ones in that section of the train, "You looked so cool! I wish I was able to go in person!"
