I was woken up by Melody pawing at my knee as I sat on the couch with my head laying on the back of the sofa. I slowly opened my eyes as I brought my head up and saw that the sun was already up a ways in the sky, so I knew that it must have had to be pretty close to noon if not a little past. I bent over to pick Melody up and sat her on the couch.
"You want food, huh?" I asked her quietly.
She jumped down to the floor and walked to her bowls. I got her food and put it in her dish. She then all of a sudden stopped eating and began to stare at me.
"What're you looking at?" I asked quietly to the fuzz ball.
She sat up normally and continued to stare at me. I was then startled by my phone buzzing. Once it went off she started to eat again. I pulled out my phone to see that I was getting a call from Aizawa.
I answered it, "Hello?"
"Hey, go wake Hizashi and tell him to pick me up. I've been texting and calling him for a while now and he won't pick up. Slap him awake er something. I'm ready to get out of here." Aizawa said.
"Alright, we'll be right over, see you in a bit." I said before he hung up.
I then walked out of my room and stopped at the railing to see if he was asleep on the sofa; he was. He was lying there wrapped in a blanket with his glasses still on. I rubbed the back of my neck since it was sore from the position that I was sleeping in on the couch. I walked down the stairs and went to the sofa. I kicked the back of it until he woke up.
He sat up as he said, "Good morning."
"Aizawa called, he said that he's ready to be picked up." I said as I still rubbed the back of my neck with my right hand while the other was in the pocket of my hoodie.
He picked his phone up off of the coffee table and looked at it. He sprang up as he exclaimed, "Crap!" then ran into his room, slammed the door shut, then came back out a few minutes later in different clothes. He walked quickly to the door as I followed him, "Are you going to wear the same clothes as yesterday."
I looked down at my hoodie and took my hand out of my pocket as I stopped massaging the back of my neck. I snapped my fingers once and I was instantly changed into a brown and pink hoodie with dark blue jeans. "Better?" I then slipped on my shoes and followed him to the car.
When we were going down the road he asked, "Why didn't you wake me sooner?"
"I was in the middle of feeding Melody when he called me; which was a few minutes after I woke up. That was the first time that he contacted me, so..." I responded.
"I should have heard my phone buzzing like there was no tomorrow. It should have been louder since it was on a hardwood table." he said.
I then asked, "Did you have it on do not disturb er something like that?"
He sighed a sigh of defeat, "Yeah, I forgot that I always turn that on when I'm sleeping for the purpose so that it doesn't wake me."
"It's just habit, I'm sure he'll understand." I said.
"I hope so." he said under his breath.
When we got to the hospital we went to Aiawa's room and met him there. He was sitting on the side of the bed as he was on his phone. He looked up to us and asked me, "Did you slap him for me?"
"N-no." I stuttered, surprised that he would ask something like that.
"Why? Did you ask her to?" Yamada asked Aizawa.
"Well, I asked her to slap you awake." he answered. Yamada just gave an unimpressed look. Aizawa stood up as he held onto his phone. "So, did you bring me a change of clothes?" he asked Yamada.
