"Hey...Y/N...wake up..." Yamada said quietly as he gently shook my shoulder.

I slowly opened my eyes, sat up, and looked around, noticing that it was still dark out. I rubbed my face as I asked, "What? I'm up...what is it?"

"Sho's not back yet, so I wondering if he texted or called you at all?" he said quietly as if he would wake someone else in the apartment.

I tiredly reached over and unplugged my phone to see that there was not a single notification. I shut it off and let it fall onto my bed as I pulled my sleeves down. "Nope, not yet by the least."

He took a step back as he started to think. "Get dressed." he ordered.

"What? Why?" I asked in a whiny tone.

"We're going to the station to check on his duty status if he clocked out or anything like that." he said.

I sighed as I flipped the covers off of me and pushed my legs out of bed. "Fine," I said as I stood up and walked to my closest. "but why can't I stay here and sleep."

"You could...but..." he started.

I grabbed a hoodie and a pair of jeans and closed the door as I said, "Never mind." I said as I stopped at the top of the staircase, "Give me five minutes." then walked down and to the bathroom.

When I got in the bathroom I tried to get ready as quick as I could. I quickly ran a comb through my hair and threw a beanie on after I changed into a tan hoodie and black skinny jeans. I thought about brushing my teeth again but I figured that I should hurry, so I grabbed a piece of mint gum out of one of my many packs thrown about my room, and one happened to be in the medicine cabinet. When I walked out as I tugged on a piece of impossible hair that was sticking out of the beanie. Yamada looked up from his phone as he stood up from leaning on the back of the couch.

"Alright, let's go." I said, ending with a yawn as I left my room.

When we got to the door he quickly slipped on a pair of shoes then noticed that I didn't have any socks on. "You forgot socks."

I groaned about it, then decided to snap my fingers together, making them instantly appear on my feet before I slipped on shoes. "Let's go." I said in a sour tone since I was woken from a peaceful slumber.

When we got in the car and we were on our way, he said, "Sorry for waking you."

I put my elbow on the windowsill of the passenger window, rested the side of my head on my fist and closed my eyes as I said, "It's fine."

I must have fallen asleep pretty quick after I closed my eyes, cause it felt like in the blink of an eye we were at the station since I had woken up when we came to a stop. We then got out and walked into the building. We walked past the front desk that I usually go to and went to one that was where we clock in at. Yamada did all the talking.

"Good morning;" the receptionist looked at her computer quickly before saying, "I don't think you start until ten...and you," she pointed to me, "don't start until noon tomorrow. You could have started today, but the chief wanted you to take one more day of rest." she finished with a smile.

'We aren't even in our hero costumes, so why would you think that we're going to clock in now?'

He smiled nervously as he said, "Ah, no, we aren't signing in right now. I was wondering about Eraserhead. I know he was sent to the other side of the city for patrolling, but he hasn't shown up yet."

The receptionist turned to her computer as she said, "I'm not sure...he should be back by now?" She then corrected herself, "Oh, it says here that he was put on overnight patrolling in that area on short notice..." she scrolled down during the pause then quickly looked at us with a smile, "he should be done at eight, so in a few hours."
