I had set an alarm for 4:30 AM so I could have time to get ready and to wake up before I had to be out with the rest at 5:30. Just after I got dressed and ready in my gym uniform, Aizawa texted me saying that I should wear my hero outfit. I looked in the mirror at myself and gave a loud sigh as I slouched my back. I then turned around and changed into my hero costume. I barely made it out there by the time everyone else arrived. Man, I was super tired still and didn't want to be there either. I joined the back of the group because I was so tired and didn't want anyone to interact with me. Just as I made myself comfortable in the back of the crowd, I was called forward.
"Y/N, could you please join me up here?" Aizawa asked before he started the training for the day. I drug my feet as I walked to the front of the group, then once I made it to the front I stood as if I was ready for anything. "Alright, Bakugo, could you please come up here too?" Bakugo then joined us too. Aizawa handed him a ball and ordered, "Throw this." Bakugo took the ball and happily threw it. Aizawa then showed us how far it went before explaining, "Today will start the training for pushing and strengthening all of your quirks since you all seem to be training your physical strength already. You all will be doing something different according to your quirks and its strength already at this point."
Just then the Wild Wild Pussycats came and gave further instructions and took the class in groups to get them started on their training. I stood there and watched as the class was broken up into their groups and walked off. Just as I was going to go and walk down a trail that led into the woods, I was stopped.
"Where do you think you're going?" I turned around to see that Aizawa had his hands in his pockets and hadn't moved from his spot.
I turned around to face him as I answered, "I was going to go and explore the woods." I then looked up as I realized something, then mumbled to myself, "I should head back to my room and pick up that thing for my training then find a spot out in the woods."
I guess what I said to myself was loud enough that he heard me and asked, "What are you getting from your room?"
I walked towards him as I explained so then I wouldn't have to raise my voice. "I got an invention from David Shield that is supposed to help with strengthening quirks. I brought it along so I could test it out while I'm here since this is a trip for training."
"That's a smart idea. I was going to ask you if you wanted to join the other teachers and I if you had nothing planned. Training is more important, so go off and do that instead; but be back to the area where everyone is primarily training at noon. I'm sure they'd like a verbal pat on the back from a hero their age." He said as he took his hands out of his pockets and crossed his arms.
"Kay, see you then." I said as I started for the lodge to grab the invention.
I quickly made it to my room and grabbed it along with my backpack that I emptied out so I could put that and a water bottle in it. As soon as I made it out of the door to go outside, I stopped and looked in all of the directions that I could go. I looked to my right and saw the quirks of my classmates; so I decided to go to the left and pave my own path through the brush. As I walked along, I thought of what I could call the never seen before invention that was given to me. I decided to name it the Training Cube (Very creative, I know right?). I also realized that the temperature outside was pretty nice. Though it wasn't hot, I decided to roll up my sleeves since I was alone in the woods and couldn't see, hear or sense anyone within my near presence.
After walking for an hour or so, I found a fairly large clearing that I figured would work pretty well as a training area. I slipped off my backpack and sat it on the ground carefully as I knelt down to open it and to take out the Training Cube. I took out a napkin and sat it on the ground before setting the cube-like invention on top. Once I was satisfied with its position, I turned it on. I stood up quickly and took a step back at how realistic the hologram looked. Its starting location was a dimly lit room that looked like you were in a concrete box with a single light hanging above where you stood. When I was finished with looking around, I looked in front of me and saw that the starting menu was up and running. There were only two buttons; one to start training while the other shut the application down. I selected the button that allowed me to start training, which then more boxes popped up asking what quirk was being in use, what level of practice, location, time of day and scenario. I started with an easy quirk, strength, to be the one I'll be training, then the 'hard' level, while the rest I left blank so the machine would randomly put in the options.
