I woke the next morning almost so weak that I couldn't even turn off my alarm. I got out of bed and tried to walk to the bathroom. I stumbled a few times but I made it there. I started to wonder if I was weak cause I had puked everything up or because I lost so much blood...maybe both. When I walked into the bathroom and turned on the light, I was able to see that the once pure white bandages were now a beautiful blood red. I knew I bled a lot, but damn, this was more than usual. I took off the crusty old bandage and wrapped new ones around my arms, then put on a thin long sleeve undershirt beneath my uniform. I then did my hair and told myself in the mirror that I looked uglier than usual. I gathered my stuff and packed it into my backpack, then went downstairs. As I waited, I sat on the sofa, but before long I flopped over and nearly fell asleep waiting for Yamada and Aizawa to get ready to leave.
'Man, they take forever- scratch that- I wake up too early.'
I let out a sigh as I opened my eyes to look at the time.
'I have fifty minutes...I'm thirsty...a little water won't hurt.'
I sat up slowly since I was still a little weak. I nearly fell over twice on my way to the kitchen to get a glass of water, though on my way back to the sofa I did fall. I tried to get up but it was to no avail.
'Ahh fuck it, I'll just lie here. At least I can try to sleep.'
After what felt like a few minutes, I was awoken by being lightly kicked in the hip.
"Hey, get up. It's time to go." Aizawa said, sounding dead as ever.
Yamada hollered from the door, which I presumed he was putting on his shoes, "If you're going to sleep, sleep on the sofa. You'll catch a cold sleeping on the floor."
"Sorry." I muttered quietly. Aizawa looked back at me since he was in earshot and able to hear me, yet he was walking towards the door to put on his shoes.
I used all of the effort that I had to get up and make it look like I wasn't weaker than usual. Halfway to the door I tripped. Well, I suppose I didn't trip, it was more like my knees were too weak to carry on walking that I collapsed.
Aizawa quickly spun around, "Are you alright?"
I then said as I picked myself up, "Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just so tired that I can't walk normally." I finished it with a phony smile. Even a blind person could tell it was fake.
"Well, be careful." Aizawa demanded.
I then started for the door once more. I nearly tripped again so I decided to use my energy quirk to gain back some muscle. I don't like using it cause it brings my quirk energy level down, so then I'm able to use a quirk for less time and fewer quirks at a time. I used it to put on my shoes, to walk to the car, to open the car door, and to climb in; I was able to put on my seat belt without the quirk, barely though.
Once we were on our way to school, Yamada asked quietly since Aizawa had fallen asleep already, "Why were you sleeping on the floor?"
"Erm...no reason." I said just as my face turned red.
He looked in the rear-view mirror to look at me. He raised an eyebrow as he asked skeptically, "Really?" He then went back to watching the road, "People don't normally sleep in the middle of the floor for no reason."
I let out a sigh before I asked quietly, "Didn't you hear me when I fell?"
He said slightly louder than how he was usually talking in and in a worried tone, "Did you fall and black out while we thought you were sleeping?!"
"N-no...no I-"
He cut me off, "You look so pale too, are you feeling okay?"
"N-no, I didn't fall and black out. I just fell and was too lazy to get back up, so I decided to take a nap. I get up way earlier than you guys, so I decided that I was going to take a nap anyway."
