Tachizaki - Perfect day

What makes a day perfect? A perspective of that differed from person to person. Introverts would rather stay inside and have a comfy day. Extroverts would probably go out with others and do something fun. It differed due to personality and former experiences. Whether you would be willing to try something new or if you are tired from a long day at work.

Tanizaki tried to collect some of these 'perfect' days. Dazai only mentioned suicide and some other pretty disturbing things which his colleague wouldn't want to ever think about again. This man was truly horrifying. Atsushi said walking through a park with the ones he adores because it saves money while still having such wonderful people around him. This boy truly was too precious. Fukuzawa kept it simple with one word: cats. Not a bad idea, cats were absolutely adorable in Tanizaki's opinion.

The opinions kept rising. Kunikida had a full date with later cuddle sessions a film and everything planned out. Every minute. Poor Katai... Anyway asking Yosano and Koyo was out of the question. Tanizaki was too scared of the two queens. There were too powerful for him. Therefore the last person he asked was Gin. That girl might be from the mafia but her answer with 'spending time with the one I love, nothing more' was one of the most normal ones. Tanizaki wasn't sure but it also seemed like the black haired girl blushed a little. Though that probably wouldn't happen to a mafioso, right? Or could he hope a little...?

Anyway after gathering some information he had forged a plan. A plan for the PERFECT day. And today was the plan to finally achieve the perfect day. Not for him though. He himself knew how his perfect day would look like. He wouldn't have needed to gather information. No, it was for his boyfriend.

The last few weeks were stressful for the mafia. Atsushi was quite worried that his boyfriend came home late. Especially since Akutagawa was very thin and Atsushi tried his best to change that. Yosano and Dazai were also complaining non-stop that their lovers rarely came home. After listening for an hour or so about them wanting to flirt and cuddle and making remarks wanting to do... adult things. That was the moment when the chef came out of his office to get some tea. He looked them dead in the eyes and with said seriously: "Your partners were home the last few weeks?". That comment made everyone silently turn to their respective work. The atmosphere in the office was filled with pity and all three thought the same: "I guess it could have been worse...".

Tanizaki also had trouble seeing Tachihara. The mafioso seemed especially stressed and in a bad mood. Always grumbling and... coming home with a few more blood stains than usual. After the whole trouble was over (whatever it was, since they haven't heard about it it was most likely something extremely illegal and secretive) Tachihara just fell into the bed and slept for the rest of the day. What should be added to that is that it was morning when he came home.

Anyway the next day was his day off anyway. A vacation for all the members involved to compensate them a little. And to prevent a burnout. So that was Tanizaki's chance. The chance to complete his plans. It only took a little time and preparations and everything was ready.

Right at this moment he was holding his hands in front of his boyfriends eyes to prevent him from seeing the special surprise. Said one complained a little but still carefully stepped forward.

"Can I open my eyes now?", Tachihara complained again.

"No! I haven't said you can yet!", Tanizaki scolded the curious red haired male.

"Ohhh, nice change now you're the dominant one in this relationship? But I want to see your pretty face, can't I?~ I haven't seen it for so long I feel like I might remember only the good parts. Or do you truly look like a god?~", Tachihara flirted. Even though it made Tanizaki blush a lot he still saw through the scheme. His hands were tightly closed so that Tachihara couldn't see a single thing.

"Stop joking. We're almost there", Tanizaki said while trying to cover his embarrassment. As they arrived at the place he prepared he carefully pressed the other one down onto the prepared picnic blanket. "Okay you can open them now!".

There was a moment of silence. It felt like hours for Tanizaki. Did he do the right thing? Was this perfection? He probably did something wrong...

"It's beautiful", Tachihara stared into the clear water of the river in front of him. A few fishes were swimming through the wonderful blue. The sun was shining as bright as ever and the trees next to them gave enough shadow so that they wouldn't get annoyed by the sun. There were a few flowers here and there and the blanket was very soft. Tachihara looked to his boyfriend: "No still look as pretty as ever. I remember every detail". The red head smirked.

Tanizaki hit the other one while trying to hide the blush that has formed on his cheeks. "Stop that! You should compliment the scenery! You can see me every day!".

"Is that a promise?", Tachihara's smirk grew wider, "But aren't you also part of the scenery?". The red haired male caressed the other ones cheek. Tanizaki looked away embarrassed. How could someone flirt so confidently?

NO! He couldn't let that ruin his plans! 'A perfect day is a perfectly planned day', was what Kunikida said after all. You don't have to over do it but a bit planning should have been done was what Tanizaki thought. So before he would get swept up in the mood and only cuddle he should presume his plan. Therefore he grabbed the basket on his left and put it in front of them.

"Uh~ can I expect something?", Tachihara smirked.

"Idiot it's just breakfast. Are you influenced by Dazai or what?", Tanizaki raised his eyebrow. It was such a scary thought that he hoped would never come true. Dazai's fantasies were terrifying. Especially for someone with a weak backbone like Tanizaki. Tanizaki just tried to not get into the doctors and former mafia executives way... Pretty much the opposite of Atsushi who visited the doctors office daily and got bothered by Dazai's pranks nonstop...

"That's harsh. I don't have THAT kind of fantasies. And is it wrong to think about your lover in that way?~", Tachihara pouted a little as to put some dramatic effect in his words. Not that he would say these kind of things in front of other people. He had to keep the cool, strong and fierce exterior in the mafia. He also had to try not to get murdered by Naomi for stealing her brother. But someone after his head was a small price for this precious bean with his sleeves too long.

The two of them had an idle and long breakfast after then watching the river for a bit. The sound of the water flowing and the birds quietly chirping was very comforting. There were a few bees gathering honey from some flowers. Everything just seemed perfect. Tachihara was completely relaxed. He was with his precious little brother. He had a day off. He had wonderful food made by his lover. What else could he wish for? There was nothing left that he needed for his happiness at the moment. This was-

Ring.

A small tone stopped both of them in their tracks. They looked at each other both knowing what this meant. Please not.

Tanizaki slowly reached into his pocked and pulled out his phone. Kunikida. In slow motion he raised the phone to his ear. An emergency. How could this happen now?! Just when both of them had time and were relaxed!

When Tachihara saw the depressed puppy look in his boyfriends eyes he couldn't be angry at him. He just gave him a peck on the cheek. "Just make up for it later lover boy! Dinner is on me then".

Tanizaki nodded and flashed him a smile. Small pebbles of light green snow slowly appeared. Meanwhile Tanizaki quickly grabbing his things and stuffed them in a bag. He quickly waved at a goodbye knowing that Kunikida would kill him for every minute he came in late.

'Damn', Tachihara thought, 'This boy is going to kill me with his cuteness'. All in all everyday Tachihara could see his boyfriend smile would turn into a perfect day...

So yeah I'm back with a TanizakixTachihara oneshot since many of you wanted another one. I'm just going to say I tried. I hope I got at least a little bit of the characters right lmao
