What turns a person into a kind? When can one be considered a true king? A true king is wise and kind hearted. He only wants the best for his subject. A king is someone who will endure hardships and sacrifice even though he could earn critic through that. He stays true to himself and most importantly to his subjects. A true king values the life and happiness of his subjects more than his own.

That and only that made one worthy of commanding others. Only hoping for the best and less struggles. Most importantly there was only one king. One above all. One who was chosen by luck and not everyone would be seen as a good fit. But the subjects cannot choose the king. It is fate.

"I'M NOT GOING TO FOLLOW THIS MAD MANS ORDERS!", Yosano screamed as soon as she saw the longer stick in the mafia bosses hand.

"Yosano I do feel the same but this is the game-", Kunikida started to try and calm her down only to be shut down by her screaming.

"This house is a fucking nightmare!", She declared upon climbing up a wardrobe in the room.

Everyone in the room knew that this was the worst possible man to be chosen the king in the game they were playing. Mori was not only cruel and shameless but he also had the smarts and intellect to know who had which number.

Next to this concern there was also a creepy smile on the mans face that made everyone cower in fear. Kunikida almost immediately set a timer to 5 minutes until they could determine another one to give orders. Who had the idea to play kings game with the mafia? Kunikida shook his head. Why was he even questioning it? It was Dazai of course.

Said man was laying defeated on the floor. "Mori you snitch! I already prepared so many orders to get on your nerves! Like letting you jump in a dumpster! Putting Fukuzawa in a maid outfit! Letting Koyo drink coffee!", Dazai shouted in defeat.

Fukuzawa took a sip from his tea cup mumbling: "Maybe Mori wasn't the worst choice after all...". Koyo nodding in disgust at the thought of drinking coffee.

"Number five please take a seat on number ones lap", Mori used his first order. With those words everyone looked around searching for the two victims.

"Who's number one you fuckers?", Chuuya sighed in defeat. Dazai shot up from his position on the ground. Both of them looking at each other until seeing what Mori had planned.

"STOPP THIS BULLSHIT BOSS! NOT AGAIN WITH THIS SHIPPING STUFF!", Chuuya screamed and turned around to the man ordering them. The one in question only smiled and gestured for the two of them to sit down.

Quietly the both of them sat down. Both knowing that the penalty of not following the order would contain cleaning ALL of the mafias toilets for a whole week. Dazai was the one proposing this penalty. Now he only cursed at himself for this.

"Wonderful. Not so stiff you two you have known each other for long enough. Lean a bit into the touch", Mori's smile grew wider. The other people in the room seemed to keep quiet as well. One reason was to not get targeted as well. The other was that this could be a chance for the never ending sexual tension between those two to end.

Grumbling Chuuya leaned back a bit into the other ones chest. A blush spread across his face as Dazai clumsily wrapped his arms around the other ones waist. Mori just chuckled and took a picture of the two of them. Before they could even complain he gestured for them to stay quiet.

"Now number one say three things you like about number five"

"His shoes and nothing else", Dazai stated and received a jab into the side with the other ones elbow

"I see someone is ready to clean-"

"Okay, okay! You don't understand any fun sheesh Mori!", Dazai sighed dramatically "He's uhm... loyal like a dog, he's cute- I mean stupid – when he tries to act like a bad boy but at the same time helps others over the street and he's not THAT bad looking".

"Wonderful. Now number five say three things you like about number one", Mori continued with no mercy to be seen. Especially since Chuuya still was very flustered from once in a while hearing something nice from his former partners mouth.

"He's smart, has a weak side and will always help his friends", Chuuya mumbled and then immediately started to complain again: " Can you please get on the nerves of others now boss?!"

"Wait, wait, wait chibi how am I weak? I'm perfect! The only weak spot I have is the one for women wanting to commit double suicide with me", Dazai declared turning Chuuyas head so he could look the other one in the eyes.

"Well I'm not the one who tries to kill himself to be happy! You're always playing happy but actually you're really lonely and helpless", Chuuya raised an eyebrow. The room turned silent.

Dazai only looked at the small man in shock. It was true that he had never truly been happy. He had felt happiness before with Ango and Odasaku. But being deceived had destroyed some of it. He still was happy in the agency. But not as happy as others. Not as happy as simple people on the street. There was always some kind of melancholy in his eyes yet he had never expected Chuuya to notice.

Only a few people that were really close to him noticed. Mori, Odasaku, Ango and Ranpo knew it. Fukuzawa had a hunch. No one else was so close to him or smart enough, at least that's what Dazai thought. Yet there was Chuuya looking at him as if it was something usual you would notice. Something usual to see through another ones mask.

Could it be that the two of them understood each other more than they believed? The one losing everything he had and the other one never having anything worth living for? Two lost souls in the darkness. Pure and lonely holding onto each other.

Ring.

The tone immediately got all of them out of their thoughts. It was the five minute timer Kunikida had put in. Yet he wasn't prepared for this. Too many thought were rolling through his mind. Dazai being sad? Chuuya understanding him? Both of them still a bit embarrassed yet forgetting to break skin contact with the other.

In the meanwhile Ranpo collected the sticks to draw once again. "Who's the nine and my soul mate? I know Poe's sadly not so tell me people", Ranpo hummed completely breaking the mood.

"I had the nine", Fukuzawa said.

Ranpo looked at him shaking his head: "Ew let's forget that. Then I would rather choose my soulmate myself". He then winked at Poe and started letting everyone draw once again.

A few minutes later their fates were decided once again. The king had been chosen by fate. Was it a good one? Who knew.

"You said you would make me drink coffee Dazai?", Koyo viciously smiled.
