Mori was on his way back from work. Yes it was 11 o'clock in the night and he was on his way back. Nothing that was unnormal for normal office workers. However his shift usually started at seven o'clock.

Some people would be humming and walking their way back to their home thinking they only had to work for a few hours but Mori was devasted. Why you ask? Because he had been working since four o'clock yesterday. Nothing to be humming about.

It seemed like the city was boiling this week and right now it finally calmed down. Everyone in the Mafia was exhausted. Especially the boss and the executives.

Kōyō said that she will take a good bath put off her make-up and jump with some sweat pants into her bed and cuddle her girlfriend. And knowing Kōyō one can conclude that her putting on sweat pants was even more rare than Akutagawa having a good day, smiling and greeting everyone. So one can see how much she had to work these days.

Chuuya was also willing to open one of his best bottles of wine and just lazing around. He also said that he wouldn't let Dazai into the house because he "had enough of the exhausting stuff for today, so he has to promise me to shut up".

Mori chuckled at the thought of his talented coworkers. He on the other hand had nothing coming to mind.

Elise was exhausted as well. It was getting harder giving her all the possibilities with his big exhaustion. She also had to fight a bit and the poor thing was probably exhausted from working too much.

So Mori stopped by at a little shop buying some things. The cashier looked smiling at him: "Ah seemed like you had an exhausting work day". The black haired male forced on a smile: "One day?", he said while paying.

The cashier seemed a bit shocked. "Oh... that's... hard", he seemed really out of words. Mori just smiled at the blonde man and replied with: "It's fine. If I had to stand over 24 hours at a check-out like you do it would have been worse. Thank you very much". He then bowed smiled and left the shop. The blond cashier went through his hair: "This seems even worse than me having to train the volleyball team...".

Making his way down town Mori now had a bag with him. In it some cake for Elise and some necessary things like tomatoes that were on his grocery list. He didn't ate much sweets. Mostly because Elise was eating so much that she covered both of their sugar reserves. But how could he judge his little angle because of that.

He finally arrived at home and opened the door as silent as possible. Who knew maybe everyone was sleeping. He quickly proceeded by putting away all of the bought items and went into the living room. Fukuzawa was sitting there silently. The TV was on but he didn't move a muscle and his eyes were closed.

The Mafia boss stood for a few seconds leaning in the entrance. He should go to bed or he would do something unreasonable. He turned around again and took a quick shower and got into some more comfy clothes that weren't his emergency pair at work when he had to work overtime.

"The exhaustion must be weighting on me", he thought as he made his way back to the living room. Somehow the couch with his husband seemed more tempting than the bed. As silent as he could he sat next to the taller male and put a blanket over the two of them.

"I must be out of my mind", he thought as he cuddled closer to the grey haired male and closing his eyes. It was as if a big weight was lifted off his shoulders. Weird he didn't even sleep yet. Weird how another humans company made him feel at ease and not wary.

The warmth of both Fukuzawa and the blanket showed their effect. The black haired male felt sleepy and started to breath at an equal pace.

It was calm and quiet.

No wonder that Mori almost got an heart attack when he felt a hand on his head.

The pair looked at each other in shock. The grey haired male then looked confused.

"I just got back from work and I thought you were sleeping. Make some damn noise or something if you are awake! I'm 40 and right now not far away from a heart attack!", the black haired male exclaimed still calming down. He perhaps also wanted to hide his embarrassment of his actions.

"Sorry", the other male replied. It was hard seeing his emotions through this never ending poker face but eventually Mori got the hang of it. He was really sorry.

They sat farther apart again since Mori yanked up his head in surprise. The younger male felt a little disappointment that he had lost this wonderful warmth. With a sigh he looked at his older husband, oh what a weird gap moe he had.

"Had a long day?", was the only thing leaving the older mans mouth. Oh he was a man of very few words. Mori just nodded and leaned back. He closed his eyes.

This time with more noise Fukuzawa moved his arm and petted his head. A bit embarrassing to be honest. But his husband loved petting others heads. There was no stopping him. Whether it's Ranpo, Atsushi or some weird stray cats. So he went along with it.

He was then moved to the bigger males shoulder again. Something that he had wished for deeply hidden in his mind. Mori cursed at himself feeling his face getting hotter.

The exhaustion seemed to be blown away. It was very calming. He felt like he could doze off here and now...

Fukuzawa moved him even closer and he looked up confused. A rare smile that was more like a little deforming of the older males lips could be seen. He placed a small peck at the smaller males forehead.

The gears in the rationalists head started stirring. This wasn't good. Something was about to happen and he was not sure if he would like it.

And he was right. Something was about to happen. This something was Fukuzawa putting off the TV and then picking him up bridal style.

"What are you doing, please?", Mori looked at him in disbelief. "I can walk on my own".

"Since you were already action spoiled I thought I would go with it. This only happens once a year", the grey haired male looked down at Mori in his arms. Before the carried one could protest even more Fukuzawa carried the two of them into the bedroom and laid down.

Mori was still speechless – and blushing – while Fukuzawa turned off the lights.

"It's late and you haven't slept for a while. You should sleep now", he stated after a while still cuddling him.

Mori was the personification of the Pikachu meme. What. Was. Happening. Was it his fault now? He then went to sleep still a bit confused. Better sleep now since he could then maybe think about it more rationally.
