Have you ever experienced hell on earth? It's a belief for some that there are two worlds in the afterlife: Heaven and hell. It doesn't matter if you believe in an afterlife, reincarnation, anything else, or nothing. Because the concept of hell, of something to punish you that makes you go through immense pain, is something everyone is aware of.

Not because it's a universal concept that is absolutely true. No, it's at least something you have to be aware of when you want to learn all the curses. Wishing someone to go to hell? Power move. So yeah no matter what is true this concept enriches the vocabulary we can use when talking to our enemies.

But this is not the point here: The point is that life can be so hard at times. That you will feel like you go through hell itself. And the only thing you can do then is to stand up. To stand up and keep going. Because you cannot move forward. So the ones who keep moving, are the strongest.

It's about their strength to keep moving. To keep going. They fought their mind at times and will do so for the rest of their lives. But does that stop them? No, as they are the strongest warriors there are. Others fight destiny single-handedly. Some fight alone, others need a group to support them.

Still, not everyone who has such an experience can keep moving. Sometimes the moment hits you too hard. It's like you can't move. Everything hurts and you just want everything to end.

"Honey, please say something to me!", Odasaku pleaded to his husband who hadn't moved for a while. He was absolutely worried right now. What had he done?! Was Ango okay?!

"This must be hell", Ango whispered. Everything hurt. He felt his will to live slowly fading away from him. Was there even a reason to keep this suffering? Ango wasn't sure anymore.

"Babe stay with me! Breath in. Breathe out!", Odasaku was completely worried now. He could never imagine a life without his husband! This was bad!

"As these are probably the last minutes of my life: Please end my suffering", Ango smiled weakly. He was still laying there, his voice nothing more than a whisper.

"Honey, please... Drink a bit more before saying something like that...", Odasaku worriedly looked at Ango who was still laying on the table not moving an inch.

"My whole mouth is burning. I feel like I will never be able to taste anything for the rest of my life. Just the thought of living with this pain for even a little bit longer feels like hell...", Ango finally turned to face his husband. His eyes filled with tears from the pain. Never had he imagined that the one thing that would end him wasn't Dazai nor an assassin but a simple bowl of curry.

It was really insane. It slowly felt like the mafia should switch torture methods to everyday situations. Like driving with Dazai or eating Odasaku's spiced curry. Yes especially after driving with Dazai Ango felt like he would never suffer from motion sickness again. Never had he feared for his life more than he did then.

"Please, honey! I never thought that it was that horrible! Even Dazai could eat it so I thought you would be fine...", Odasaku put an arm around his husband. Normally he would have cooked Ango something different as soon as he came home. Yet Ango didn't want to trouble him and said he would be fine with the curry Odasaku always prepared for himself.

"How can you like eating something like that...?", Ango whispered and buried his face into the other one's chest. It seemed like he couldn't give up just yet...

"Well you're also really hot so I have built up some kind of resistance", Odasaku chuckled and slowly went through Ango's hair.

It wasn't that he was a sadist and loved seeing his husband suffer. Right now his deepest wish was to stop Ango's pain even though he didn't really get why everyone thought his curry was too spicy. Still, at the same time, a darker part inside of him was happy that Ango relied on him and that he could cuddle with his husband.

Usually, when Ango got home he would eat something and then head to bed. A choice that came through overworking for a few days. He was never clinging to Odasaku nor was he asking for anything.

At first, Odasaku was anxious about that. He felt like he forced Ango to be with him. However, as time moved on Odasaku saw the truth: Ango was a perfectionist. He tried to perfect all his work and that was a lot. He had so much overtime and when things started to go wrong he had to take care of them. Trust wasn't something Ango gave away for free so he was stuck with most of the work.

So when he finally got home to his husband he was too embarrassed to say anything. Ango saw his schedule as embarrassing because he had never much room for his husband. So how could he ask anything of him then? Yes, Ango was scared deep inside. Scared that Odasaku would realize what a bad choice Ango was.

Not that Odasaku didn't try to stop those thoughts. Still even after telling him that he loved him all the time Ango still had those doubts. It was just a part of the brown-haired man's nature to over-worry. Not that Odasku would ever think of letting go the love of his life!

After half an hour Odasaku felt that Ango had slowly relaxed against his chest. He felt all his muscles that had tensed up at seeing Ango in pain relax again. He really hated seeing his husband like that... He should better hide the rest of the curry and watch out not to make anything too spicy from now on...

Odasaku slowly tucked a strand of hair behind Ango's ear. He easily lifted the way too thin man and carried him bridal style into the bedroom. He really had to cook more so Ango could gain more weight... He seemed way too thin!

Carefully Odasaku played his husband onto their bed. He then took off Ango's jacket and pants. Yes, he didn't wake Ango up and he was aware that this could be seen as creepy and all. Just the thing was: Ango had been working for 5- or was it 6 days?- straight. No break. No sleep. Just necessary food and water intake.

So when Ango came home from such stressful days he was out cold for at least a day. And at the beginning, nothing could wake him up as his body demanded to finally get some sleep. Therefore Odasaku only had the choice to take off Ango's suit so he wouldn't hurt himself or get mad that it got wrinkled again.

"You should really watch out for your health a bit more, my love...", Odasaku sighed and kissed Ango's forehead. He then headed towards the kitchen to clean up.
