Chapter 17:

"Is he really okay?"

I said as I watch him walks away from me at no'ng hindi ko na siya makita ay tumaas na ako at bumalik sa room namin. When I was about to open the door when it suddenly opens at bumungad ang nag-aalalang mukha ni Kyle na nakatingin sa akin as he immediately hugs me so tight.

"K, Kyle, I can't breath,"

Medyo lumuwag ang pagkakayakap niya sa akin pero nakayakap padin siya sa akin na tila ba ayaw akong bitawan.

"Where did you go? Why did you go out instead of waking me up? Am I that unreliable?"

"Hey, let's go in, Kyle. What are you talking about? I just want to buy something that I can cook for you that's why I went out,"

I said as I pats his head kaya humiwalay siya sa pagkakayakap sa akin, and he is looking at me less worried as we go inside dahil nasa harap kami ng room namin.

"What did you buy?"

"I only manage to buy apples because the guy who sold me this told me to go back and  Sir Ice also with me earlier but he said he will go buy food instead after bringing me back here,"

"Did he told you the reason?"

Kyle asked me instead of sulking whenever I am mentioning another guy while looking at me wondering.

"He didn't tell me. He just keeps on telling ne to go back,"

I said as I shrug dahil hindi ko din alam kung bakit since my period is already over kaya nakakagalaw na ako ng maayos.

"I'll just ask him later,"

"Do want me to peel the apple?"

"...yes,"

Kyle looks away while his cheeks are a little bit red and Allerie smiled before she went to the table to peel the apples.

*knock* *knock*

Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Kyle sa pintuan at napahinto ako sa pagslice nung apple.

"I will open it,"

"Okay,"

Kyle walks through the door from sitting across from me at the table to open the door and I saw Ice with food in his arms. Hindi agad pinapasok ni Kyle si Ice kasi nag-uusap ata sila but then after a few minutes he let in Ice as they approaches me in the table at mabuti nalang naslice ko na ung apples.

"What did you two talk about? Here, Sir Ice. Come and sit down. I peeled some apples,"

I said habang pinapaupo sila sa upuan at umupo naman silang dalawa sa harap ko.

"Nothing important,"

Kyle answered as he picks up the sliced apple from the plate kaya napataas kilay ako sa sinabi niya dahil hindi ako naniniwalang wala lang iyon.

"Really?~"

"Yes,"

Kyle said kaya naman humarap ako kay Ice na kanina pa tahimik at nakatingin lang sa akin kaya medyo nagulat pa siya no'ng bigla akong humarap sa kaniya.

"?"

"Is he telling the truth?"

I asked Ice seriously and he looks at Kyle before he look at me back again.

"Yes, he is telling the truth,"

Ice answered me but I think Kyle signed him a while ago kaya napabuntong hininga ako dahil ayaw nilang sabihin sa akin ang pinag usapan nila.
