Chapter 14:

"Is she afraid of the rain?"

Kyle look at Allerie as he closes the curtain. Kyle opens their bag to look for a thick clothes for Allerie but he doesn't have that will fit her kaya napaisip siya kung lalabas ba siya para bumili ng damit pero ayaw niyang iwan ng mag-isa si Allerie.

"Should I just buy later on after she wakes up? Geez, I should not leave her!"

Kyle said to himself as he remembered Allerie said last night that a man came over so he can't leave her alone. Kyle gets the blankets on the floor as he covered Allerie who is sleeping peacefully.

Nagising ako dahil sa naiinitan ako at hindi ko aakalain na mabigat pala ang mga kumot dahil nakapatong ito sa akin kaya pala ang init. Bumangon ako at umupo ng maayos as I saw Kyle in the table doing something.

"Kyle, what are you doing?"

He turns around at may hawak siyang baso at umuusok iyon so I think it is hot water or tea. He puts down the cup and approaches me.

"Are you okay?"

I looked at him wondering because he is asking me odd since I didn't think I am hurt or anything for him to ask me if I am okay.

"Huh?"

"Why are you in the closet?"

"Ah?~ That~ "

Hindi ako makatingin sa kaniya dahil nahihiya akong sabihin na takot ako sa kidlat.

"It's alright. You don't have to answer it,"

He said as he walks away from me kaya nagtataka ako sa kaniya since he becomes more unpredictable. Tinanggal ko ang mga sobrang kumot bago ako humiga dahil inaantok pa ako since I didn't get any sleep last night because of the thunderstorm.

*yawn*

I close my eyes and go to sleep for a little more dahil pakiramdam ko ang bigat ng katawan ko plus my period is not done so I feel so lazy to get up since I want to lay down all day.

"Allerie, are you going to sleep?"

"Yes~~"

Mahinang sagot ko kay Kyle habang nakapikit ang mga mata ko at hindi naman na nagsalita si Kyle kaya nakatulog ako.

Kyle looks at Allerie's face who is sleeping peacefully as he covers her again with the blanket but not all of the blankets that Allerie puts away earlier.

"She's like a child. Now, I doubt that she is really older than me,"

Kyle said as he lets her sleep more before he wakes her up to eat since he already prepared some food for them na pinaasikaso niya sa nagbabantay ng inn na tinutuluyan nila kaya hindi na siya lumabas.

"--llerie, wake up,"

Napadilat ako ng mga mata no'ng may gumigising sa akin at nakita ko si Kyle na nakangitin sa akin which is unusual for him to smile like that.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Why are you smiling? It's really giving me chills, Kyle. It's not like you,"

I said as I looked at him seriously kaya nawala ang mga ngiti niya at bumalik sa usual expression niya na seryoso.
