"Noah?" Quinn called when she got to the apartment and found the front door wide open.
Quinn took out her phone and dialed Puck's number as she walked into the apartment.
"Hey, babe." Puck answered the call. "What's up?"
"Hey." Quinn said. "Are you home?"
"No, I'm still at Jake's with the kids." Puck said. "Why?"
"The apartment door is open." Quinn stated, her eye catching a glimpse of black hair in the other room.
"I'm on my way." Puck responded. "Wait for me outside."
Quinn was too afraid to speak. She hung up the phone and ran back outside. She called the police and paced back and forth while she waited.
Someone's hands grabbed her arms, causing her to jump.
"It's just me." Puck said, rubbing Quinn's arms. "I got you."
Quinn looked at Puck.
"Are you okay?" Puck asked when he and Quinn parted.
"I saw someone inside." Quinn blurted.
"What?" Puck questioned Quinn.
"I saw someone with black hair." Quinn replied. "I didn't see their face, but I saw them in our bedroom."
"It's gonna be okay." Puck promised. "Come here."
Quinn took a deep breath as Puck wrapped his arms around her to comfort her. They stood together for a moment until two cop cars pulled up.
"I'll talk to them." Puck offered.
"I should tell them what I saw." Quinn decided.
The pair walked over to the police officers. They introduced themselves and talked to two of the officers while the other two headed inside to make sure the apartment was clear.
"You're okay, babe." Puck promised. "You're safe."
Quinn nodded. "I'm just freaked out at the thought of someone in our apartment going through our things."
"I know." Puck said. "But the most important thing is that you and the kids are okay. We can replace anything that's missing."
"Yeah." Quinn agreed.
"It's all clear."
"Are you sure?" Quinn wondered.
"I can assure you that the apartment was searched thoroughly, including the closets and under the beds, by multiple officers."
"Would you mind doing one last sweep?" Puck requested. "Just to ease my mind."

When they were given the okay, Quinn and Puck went upstairs to clean up and make sure nothing was stolen.
Quinn bit her lip as Puck led her into the apartment.
"What?" Puck asked.
"I know I should be grateful that we're all safe and our home isn't damaged, and I am." Quinn began. "But if any of my jewelry is missing-"
"That cop gave me his card, so if anything's missing, we can report it and we'll replace it." Puck pointed out as he started straightening up. "That stuff doesn't matter."
"I know." Quinn said softly.
"Do you wanna go through your jewelry box and see if anything's missing?" Puck suggested.
Quinn shook her head.
Puck paused and looked at Quinn. "Talk to me."
"I don't wanna be here." Quinn blurted. "I know they cleared the apartment, but I feel violated, Noah. And I know it's stupid-"
"It's not." Puck cut Quinn off. "If you're not comfortable staying here, we can stay at Jake's or at a hotel or something, okay?"
Quinn bit her lip.
"Hey." Puck said, gently holding Quinn. "I don't want you to be afraid or uncomfortable. We'll get out of here, okay?"
"Okay." Quinn nodded. "Thank you."
