Pitbulls

I absolutely LOVE dogs, including pitbulls.

My issue is people.
People who say Pitbulls are bad.

I had a pitbull, had her since she was a baby barely done milking from her mother, and she passed away a few months ago (January 2021), all the way to old age.
And never has she ever bitten any of us, or attacked ANYONE. She only playfully bit when my parents were playing with her.

She was okay with cats.

She was fine with my baby siblings crawling all over her, even with them hitting her with a toy (my parents always stopped then though), and she never threatened to bite us or growled.

If a stranger came around, she would sniff their hands and beg to be pet.

If my parents got in fights that got as intense as screaming, she would get up and come to me and sit right next to me.

The only thing she's ever attacked in her life was water we would splash at her when we all were swimming.

And she was a pitbull.

She was the sweetest thing you could have ever met, rarely ever even barked.
And people say all pitbulls are bad because of their breed.

Yet, Chihuahuas bite and growl all the time like spawns of Satan.
Don't get me wrong, they're still cute, but they can be as grouchy as cats.
But they're the perfect pet, get to be carried around and bags and such.

But Pitbulls are deemed dangerous because of their size.

Just because they look big and scary doesn't mean they are.
They can be very beautiful dogs, they are very loveable, and very playful. And from my experience, not even very loud?

If there ever is a violent pitbull, it's the same reason for any other violent dog.
Rabies, or from a bad expirience.

If they were abused, put in dog fights, beaten, etc, then of COURSE they're gonna lash out at even children! But that's humans faults! HUMANS made them that way! Just like how a 3 year old cussing like tomorrow ain't coming while looking completly ratty is the parents fault.

When human children lash out, the parents are blamed for not raising them right.
But when dogs lash out, despite people knowing how baby-like they are, the dogs are blamed.

And when it comes to pitbulls, especially dog fighters love to take them just for a quick cash-in, for entertainment, because of the breeds strength.
It's NOT the dogs fault. It's HUMANS.

I love pitbulls, they're just as loveable as any other dog, end of story.
