YT's giving me the vid of a person saying "True freedom is not feeling the need to get drunk or high, and knowing that you need God and want to please him. If you live the opposite of those things then you're not truly free. You're crazy for not wanting to have a relationship with God."
(That last sentence was word-for-word what they said)
No offence to my believer followers, but since when has freedom ever been about struggling to stick in a lane to please someone? That's literally the COMPLETE opposite of freedom.
With your parents, it's abuse.
With a slaver, it's, well, slavery.
With a lover, it's toxic.
But with this being, it's okay?
And just sayin, but Jesus would probably be okay with medical Mary Jane. Literally made from the Earth and has healing properties. If God didn't want people to use it, why did he have it grown on his planet?
And having a drink? Did Jesus NOT turn Water into Wine? Telling me when Jesus made it for a wedding that he DIDN'T want people to enjoy it?
If someone wants a moderated drink after busting their butt from working 4am to 9pm job just to feed their kids cheap food and put a small roof over their head, no problems. And that's coming from me.
And this person's rich enough to have giveaways, so who TF are they to say to us who can barely afford crap shouldn't have any of the affordable, completely normal, recreation that doesn't involve sitting on our knees for something we don't believe when we're trying to keep our sanity together?
(Before anyone says "Why you wasting money on that stuff if you can't afford it?" When done in moderation, why tf shouldn't someone spend their side money on something that keeps them from completely losing their sanity or from breaking down? Can't try your best if you've run out of fuel.)
And it was just that last line that just...really irked me. You don't get to insult people and then hope they join your beliefs. If I said believing in God as a great guy never helped me and should put you in an insane asylum, would you want to turn away from Christianity?

I clicked it thinking it was a normal video. Nope. And it's not like they were famous, they have very few vids on their channel and very few comments on that vid.
Leave my pro-Weed bisexual genderfluid pagan butt alone, ffs. The line "You're crazy for not wanting a relationship with God" just sounded so twisted somehow. Sounded like someone who views people who aren't like them as below them and roaches, or dumb slugs. Great way to make me ever consider turning, huh?
Not that I was considering. I'll stick to giving offerings to Thor to deter bad storms, as has actually worked for me way more than praying to God ever has when I did believe as a kid thanks to being stuck with a Christian children's channel, thank you very much.
Believe what you want, but don't go trying to convert people and telling them they're crazy if they don't follow your mindset.
