Unpopular opinion, as far as I've seen, but I don't ship Theyna. Not romantically, at least.
Friendly though, on the other hand.
They didn't really know each other very well (Even Solangelo knew each other longer. In HoO, Will implies they already knew eachother before and treats Nico like anyone else before they get together), and they just don't seem like they could be a couple to me.
And both are still mourning the death of Reyna's friend/Thalia's brother. The wound is still so fresh by the time the two are getting closer.
And plus, I like to see 2 people be just friends without anyone being aromantic. It's okay for a non-aro person to never find romantic love and learn to be okay with it. Which is something kids need more of. Romance isn't the greatest thing in the world, and this is coming from someone who only dated 1 person and through the internet.
Reyna finding she doesn't need, never needed, romantic love is a good thing, tbh.
And irl, I don't think Artemis is okay with love of any form, not even lesbians. In the Riordanverse, somewhat. But in reality, nope.
So my opinion on Theyna is a big nope. As friends is okay, but as lovers is no.
