You know what would be interesting for Hazbin Hotel?
If a character who went though religious trauma and died of an OD when taking stuff to deal with the trauma was introduced. And though they don't want to be in Hell, the trauma they experienced in life because of people who wanted to desperately go to heaven makes them oppose the hotel.
Of course, they'd go through an arc that things may not be so bad, maybe in Hell they bump into the people who caused their trauma and realize maybe there IS some hope they can have that things aren't what their abusers made them out to be, seeing as their abusers are being punished for their actions.
Maybe it would make them want to get clean?
And this could also be a turning point for Angel.
Like, they'd both be drug addicts who went through abuse and have crap families who ended up in Hell with them. And them cleaning themselves up and able to leave may help Angel realize that maybe getting clean wouldn't be so bad?
Viv is no stranger to adding serious topics in her shows, especially if you watch the recent Helluva Boss ep with a similar situation to Angel Dust. So it could be an interesting thing to add. Someone finding a healthy way to handle their trauma, and finally coming to peace with themselves and learning that is isn't a set-in-stone thing that they're a doomed soul.
