I really wish YouTube would stop recommending me YellowFlash videos

I don't even watch them. He's got some new vid whining about how Fallout is "going woke!" in the show. I could tell just by the thumbnail and title.

Bruh...let me show some screenshots of Fallout New Vegas's wiki, the game considered to be the best in the series.

Caesar's Legion are meant to be the antagonist, and they're very homophobic. Though soldiers do still sneak away to get down. And according to the wiki, in one ending, if you have Arcade sold into slavery to the legion, Caesar ends up fond of Arcade, who ends up taking his own life. To which Caesar will mourn him.
Even the anti-gay-women-are-meant-for-breeding leader is a gods dam hypocrite who likes men himself.

Oh, and here's from the first game:

Oh, and then there's this, from the 2nd game:

Even before anywhere recognized same-sex marriage, Fallout was the first western game to feature same-sex marriage

Even before anywhere recognized same-sex marriage, Fallout was the first western game to feature same-sex marriage. Though Fallout 2 released in 1998, and the Netherlands legalized gay marriage on April 1 2001. So the timing is a bit off in the wiki, but the fact Fallout did gay marriage before gay marriage was ever legal still stands.
Though Tim Cain did say Interplay was homophobic, this shows how much he was able to push.

Speaking of-
Tim Cain, the freaking original creator of Fallout, is a man with a husband.

Let me say that again.

The original creator of Fallout is a man with a husband
He is a gay man.

But remind me again how Fallout, the first game series to feature gay marriage even before gay marriage was legal, where the most loved game in the series features a lot of commentary on LGBTQ+, where the original creator is a married gay man himself, is "suddenly going woke".

It's always been this way. Tim always wanted this stuff in the game. There has been queer characters since the very beginning, there even being implied trans characters.

And it still carries to today.

Fallout 3 has a lesbian couple who adopted, as well as there being a gay male couple.

Fallout 4 has companions you can romance no matter the gender.
There's a sapphic couple in Diamond City who teach science to kids.
There's Mel, who only flirts and accepts your flirts if you're playing as a guy.
Cait is flirty with both men and women.
Piper gets flustered around Magnolia.
KL-E0 seems like a representation of trans people.
I think I heard the Creation Kit actually points to a child in Bunker Hill having 2 moms?
The game isn't the best and does have it's issues, both story and working wise. But it actually has this stuff woven in nicely.

Fallout always has, and most likely always will be, progressive. It was like this even before it was the norm.

Just goes to further prove that a lot of these "anti-woke" adult toddlers are whining about things they really don't understand. They see something doing something they don't like, that the thing has always done, and say it's so sudden and out of nowhere.
I can't believe I was dumb enough actually watch some of that content before.

Pretty sure 100 years from now, if we're still around, there's still gonna be gamers who go back to oldies like New Vegas, but no one would give to sh!ts about what some grown adult whining like a toddler whos favorite character had a change in shirt color.

I doubt they've played a lick of Fallout. Or if they have they just shoot up stuff and not actually appreciate the story and love put into them.

Welp, here's to hoping the Fallout show does handle these topics well, and that the show itself is awesome!
