Grooming
Looking back, I may have almost been a victim of grooming.
Back when I was between 13 to 15 years old, I was introduced to this chick who was the daughter of my grandma's friend. Though she was a bit older, maybe between 18 to 20.
We hit things off well, start talking about Creepypasta and how I like Ticci Toby and she liked Eyeless Jack. Occasionally share memes.
Now, she's the reason I ever came onto WP.
She told me about it, said she'd let me use her account. There was no "It's our little secret" thing. Though that may be because she knew I would be too nervous to ask my parents, especially my dad.
Well, sometimes, when I'd get pisssed at my parents and living situation and say "UGH I WANNA RUN AWAY!!! EVERYONE HATES ME!!!!" as young teens do, she would say one day I could live with her, kinda said in a way like I could run away to stay with her when we moved (my fam were planning to move to that state before me and her met).
So, ya. There's that red flag.
Sometimes when she would talk about her BF, if I recall correctly, she would even talk about the smex she had with him.
Remember, I was a young teen, she was just about an adult.
So that's another red flag.
And I distinctly remember her BF using her profile to chat with me once, and she was fine with it.
Now, I don't recall anything he said, he may have been more innocently intentioned. But the fact an adult man is hoping onto his gf's profile to chat with a teenage girl, and her being fine with it when she returned, is pretty fuking creepy.
Oh ya, she also told me she wanted to be my maid of honor at me and my GFs wedding, and that she'd take me to a strip club for my bachelorette party, and said it's "just for fun" when I, a 14/15 year old, very clearly stated that was not something I'd want.
So let's piece this together.
Tells a young teen girl could run away to live with her and her BF because teenage girl is dealing with teenage things
She's an adult talking about her smex life of her and her BF to a young teenage girl
She's fine with her BF using her profile to chat with a young teenage girl
Insists to a teenage girl that she'll take her to a strip club
Let's look at this more closely.
Talks about sexual things to a teenage girl including (which also once happened right after she had smex) bringing her to a strip club, then when saying this teenage girl could run away and live with her she allows her bf who she talked sexually about to talk to this oblivious teenage girl whom she had the trust of that teens family of.
This sounds like she was fuking grooming me, specifically to enter a relationship with her bf and/or her.
And when I was offline because we were too poor for internet, you know what she did?
She started telling her mom, who told my grandma, that I had run away to be picked up by a creepy dude I met on WP, then my grandma freaked out and tried asking my mom if this was true, which of course got my WP life ratted out and my mom found out about my at-the-time GF.
Thankfully this didn't reach my dad. And though my mom said she doesn't trust my gf, she still let me continue cautiously and her and my grandma helped make a new gmail for that account and locked my now ex-friend out, and I blocked the loon on FB
So on top of the other 3 factors, she also started telling hysterical lies about me, a young girl, running away with some old man to freak out my grandma and get me in trouble.
I think she was trying to groom me, possibly for her bf (her husband now, I think. This woman has a kid of her own now, too, I think)
That WP account is gone now, thanks to our good pal Charlie/Emma -_-.
I was Kitten_Kat, never changed the name even after the cut-off incident. But now I'm an adult, and looking back with a more wrinkly brain I can see just how fuked up the whole thing was.
You can say "Well, why was people introducing you to a young adult?"
But it was because everyone basically knew I was lonely and she was basically the youngest person my mom's side knew at the time.
Too bad this seemed to be another case of "It's people who are close to the family who do the grooming."
And holds true that yes, women can groom, too. Including grooming young girls.
Now, I think there has to be some higher deity because there was some dam luck on my side, too.
You see, there were also plans for me to go over to that state for the Summer, stay with my grandparents until Fall.
But, our neighbor was a sh!tty person who called CPS on my parents and made a false report because he was upset they called the cops on him for illegal drug selling.
BUT thanks to that false report, I had to stay at home instead of fly to that state, which probably saved me from becoming a possible victim of more than just grooming.
Ya, CPS was sh!tty too, and we had to get a friend with some power to help because they were making false report. But honestly that situation probably saved my dam life.
So ya.
Long story short, chick was acting pretty sketchy towards a child and got mad when things didn't go her way.
