So recently, there's been news of this woman who was raped on a subway.
And it wasn't a whole thing where her assaultor told her to keep quit and did things in hiding.
No, it was in full view of everyone.
And did anyone do anything?
Oh they did something.
They pulled out their phones and....
Filmed it.
Yes.
Instead of getting up and helping this woman who was getting raped in a public area, or at least calling 911, they instead filmed the incident and watched as her pants were ripped off.
If you SEE SOMETHING, then DO SOMETHING
It's hard if you are one person there, and you're seeing it happen. Yes, you should still try to do something, but it's harder out of fear.
But when it's a whole group of people, all with working phones, then this is an issue.
At the VERY LEAST, they could've called 911. But noooo.
They had to film it.
If this is where we are as humans, then we're doomed.
What type of fuked up do you have to be to not only watch as a woman gets sexually assaulted, but sit with others and film it!? And not do a dam thing!?
Hel, even if you helped her because you have some hero complex, that would've been better than sitting back and filming it!
I hope the guy and all the people who filmed it get the worst luck ever. And I hope that that woman gets help and good luck after not only being raped, but also after being publicly humiliated
