Sorry for the lateness of this chapter, I've been hanging Christmas lights up in my room for about an hour.

Yes, I'm hanging Christmas lights up in September.

Anyway, love y'all and hope you enjoy this chappy!!!!

Scott decided to take Mitch out for lunch.

"Okay, where do you wanna go"? Scott asked while they got into Scott's car.

Mitch smiled. "There's this really good cafe and I've only been there once but it was so amazing". Mitch said in an excited tone.

Scott laughed at how excited he was. "Okay, we'll go then".

Mitch clapped. "Yay"!

"What's got you all happy"? Scott asked.

Mitch shrugged. "Just happy to be away from Chris, don't wanna get even more harassed at lunch".

Scott frowned. "I said I would protect you, do you not believe me"?

"No, no. I do. I'm just... Still scared".

Scott set a hand on Mitch's thigh and sighed. "So, you wanna come over after school. My parents won't be there". Scott said, changing the subject.

Mitch nodded. "Yeah, just have to ask my parents".

Scott smiled. "How's that going"?

Mitch giggled. "Well, they're a lot nicer to me now, so that's good".

Scott nodded. "It is, dear".

Scott pulled up to the cafe and turned the car off, both of them got out and walked to the door.

They got a table for two and sat down.

The cafe was cozy, it was half restaurant, half coffee shop.

So it had couches and a fireplace, booths for people there to eat and the couches for people to drink coffee.

The fireplace gave a warm, comfy feeling. It was very relaxing.

Scott grabbed the menu and opened it up, Mitch doing the same.

A waitress approached them and smiled. "Hi, my name is Tori, I'll be your server today, would you like anything to drink"?

Scott smiled, warmly, at her. "Coke please".

Mitch smiled. "And I'll have the same".

Tori nodded and wrote their orders onto her notepad. "I'll have that right out".

"Thank you". Scott and Mitch said in unison.

Scott's eyes suddenly were strained on the door.

Mitch furrowed his eyebrows. "What's wrong"? He asked.

Scott cleared his throat. "Look at the door".

Mitch turned around and was met with the last person he wanted to see.

Chris.
