***** Saturday: (A/N- I'm gonna start putting what day it is in the story, so y'all don't get confused)
"Okay, so, what do you wanna do for valentines"? Scott asked.
Mitch sighed and laid back on the bed. "I don't know. Ask me when I'm not crazy ass tired and delusional".
Scott chuckled and laid down next to him, taking him into his arms. Scott kissed the top of Mitch's head and whispered an 'I love you' into his hair.
Mitch smile slightly, "I love you too, baby".
"You smell really nice".
Mitch giggled into Scott's chest. "Good. I used Cinnamon Bun shampoo".
Scott smiled and buried his face in Mitch's hair.
It was 5:30 pm but they had a busy day and Scott decided that he and Mitch would just take a cat nap and then he would get up at 8:00 pm to cook dinner for the two of them.
Mitch eventually fell asleep but Scott was still wide awake. Thinking.
Scott POV:
When I get lost in my head, bad things happen. I overthink everything. I go through the day and pick out everything I did wrong and everything I regretted. I know I shouldn't regret anything but it's just the little stuff. Stupid jokes I made. Laughing at the wrong time. Making people uncomfortable. Decisions I wish I'd made.
I'm always good at hiding my emotions but when I really get into my head, I can't hide what's going on on my face, that's why I waited till Mitchy fell asleep. I could just be breathing and he'd know that something was wrong. He's a mind reader, I swear.
I took his left hand in mine, holding it and staring at the ring on his finger. I rubbed my thumb over it. It was hard to pick out. I wanted something a little simple but I also wanted it to be extravagant. He's a princess, he deserves it. But I wanted to leave the extravagant ring as his engagement ring. He'll absolutely love it. At least I hope.
I let go of his hand and wrapped my arm around his torso, staring at his beautiful face. Jesus, he's gorgeous. His eyes bring me peace. His smile brings me joy. His dimples bring me happiness. His arms bring me comfort. His face soothes me. His laugh brings me giddiness. His body brings me pleasure and his presence brings me love. I love him so much.
He stirred in his sleep and hummed, turning so that he was on his back, I moved my body to set my head on his chest and wrap my arms around him.
I closed my eyes and started drifting off to sleep.
