"Can I really not know where we're going". I said aloud.

Scott chuckled at me but didn't answer.

We're on our way to our date. He still won't tell me where it is. I've always hated surprises. I groaned and sunk into my seat.

Scott glanced at me and laughed again. "You're gonna get your dress wrinkled". He commented.

I immediately sat upright and smoothed out my dress, causing him to laugh at me for the third time in a five minute period.

Ass.

I rolled my eyes at him and leaned forward, turning up the radio. Yes, I fucking love this song.

The radio blasted Panic! At The Disco.

I'm a scholar and a gentleman

I usually don't fall when I try to stand

I lost some bet to a guy in a chiffon skirt

But I make these high heels work

I belted out the lyrics, probably annoying the shit out of Scott. But instead, Scott chuckled at me.

"You have a beautiful voice". He said.

I blushed. "Thanks baby".

"You're welcome honey".

"Are we almost there"? I asked.

"Yeah, almost babyboy".

"Okay, good. She's getting hungry".

"She? As in you"?

I rolled my eyes. "Of course".

"Sorry! I may be gay but I don't know gay slang".

"Oh we know, we know, you're a jock, baby". I stated.

Now it was his turn to roll his eyes. I giggled at him and turned down the radio, sitting back in my seat and getting comfortable.

Once we arrived, he pulled into a parking spot. I looked out my window.

This place actually looks really familiar.

Wait.... I'm pretty sure I've been here before.

Scott cleared his throat. "Trying to figure out how you know this place".

I turned my head to look at him, "Yeah I-", I cut myself off. O my god. I remember.

I put my hand over my mouth as my eyes teared up.

Scott pouted. "Aw, baby". He said, pulling me into a hug over the dash.

He rubbed the back of my head with his hand, running his fingers through it. "Don't cry, babygirl". He whispered to me.

I pulled away after a second and wiped my under eyes, no tears escaped which means that the makeup should be good.

"Let's go in". I said.

Scott smiled and got out of the car, walking around and opening my door for me. I got out and he took my hand in his, walking to the front and opening the door.

The lady immediately recognized Scott and took us to our table.

I hour later:

The food..... was fucking EVERYTHING!

It's just how I remembered it, it was so delicious.

"Are you having a good time, babygirl"? Scott asked.

I smiled brightly up at him. "Yes! O my god, thank you so much Scott. This means so much to me. I'm so damn grateful for you, baby".

He smiled wide at me. "I can make it better". He said.

I tilted my head to the side. "How"?

"Well, for one, there's an empty house and bedroom at home for us. And for two.... close your eyes". He whispered the last part.

"Wh-"

"Just close them". He said, interrupting me.

I obliged and closed my eyes. I heard some shuffling before it stopped.

"Babyboy". He said.

"Yes".

"You can open your eyes now".

I opened my eyes to see him holding something between his fingers.

My ring.

I teared up for the second time in the past hour. "Baby". I choked out.

"I found your ring. It was in that room of the house we never use". He said, slipping it on my finger as I let out a sob. "I wasn't going to look in there but I felt like I needed to. So, I went in there and looked around only to see it sitting on the coffee table".

I choked out a sob and pulled him in for a kiss over the table.
