*******

Mitch ran after him, "Scott. Scott, baby, stop".

Scott shook his head and kept walking, he needed to get away before he said something he'd regret.

Mitch kept chasing after him though.

"Scott please just stop".

"Go Mitchell". Scott warned, stopping and turning around.

Mitch stopped in his tracks and shook his head. "I'm sorry baby, you do protect me. I'd be dead right now if it weren't for you. Just please, don't run away".

Scott ignored him, turning around and walking away for the second time that day.

Mitch sighed and turned around, waking back into the Cafeteria, which ended up being a huge mistake.

*****

Scott ended up outside, leaning against a tree and taking cigarettes out of his pocket.

He stared at it before shaking his head and throwing the cigarettes to the ground. Mitch hated when he smoked, he got Scott to stop and Mitch would angry if Scott started again.

So, Scott just took out his phone and plugged in some headphones, music always helped him relax.

He hummed softly while letting his thoughts run wild.

He cared so much about Mitch and Mitch didn't want it. Mitch didn't want his help. All Scott ever wanted was for Mitch to be okay and safe. But maybe Scott was going to far. But Mitch told him he wasn't doing a good job and that he wasn't protecting him well. That hurt. All Scott wants to do is go into the cafeteria and wrap his arms around Mitch and make sure Chris gets no where near his Angel.

Scott's music wasn't doing much for him, he could barely even hear it over his loud thoughts clouding his head, making it impossible to think clearly.

He ripped his headphones out and pulled them out of his phone, shoving the headphones back in his pocket.

He turned his back to the school and started walking towards the parking lot. Yes, he was going to leave. He was going to go home and relax the come back later and get Mitch.

Scott got in his car and closed the door, resting his forehead on his steering wheel. He took a couple deep breaths before sticking his keys in the ignition.

He was about to pull out when his phone started ringing.

KTM Calling

Scott sighed and pressed answer.

"What, Kirstin"?

Kirstie sobbed through the phone. "I-it's Mitch. Chris won't leave him alone. Please Scott, h-help".

Scott unbuckled his seat belt and sat up straighter. "What do you mean. What's Chris doing".

"He's pushing Mitch into the tables and cussing at him a-a-and h-he-" Kirstie cut herself off with her own scream.

Scott's eyes widened and immediately got out of his car, running towards the entrance to the school.

Scott hung up and ran as fast as possible to the cafeteria.

He ran in and pushed through the crowd and towards the middle.

Mitch was against a table, Chris holding on to his shirt while spitting unforgettable words in his face.

"You're fucking ugly. You're a faggot that no one likes. You're too fat", Chris basically slapped his stomach, "You're just a worthless piece of shit-"

Chris was cut off by Scott grabbing the back of his hoodie and turned him around, punching him in the face, knocking him on the ground.

Chris tried to get up but Scott kicked him in the side, making him stay on the floor.

"Don't. Ever. Talk. To. Him. Like. That. Again". Scott said, kicking Chris with each word.

Scott stopped when Mitch ran out of the cafeteria. Scott ran towards him, grabbing his arm and pulling him back.

Mitch turned to face Scott, Scott immediately noticing the tears running down Mitch's face and his red puffy eyes.

Scott pulled Mitch into a hug, one hand around his waist and the other on the back of Mitch's head, holding Mitch's head close to his chest.

Mitch sobbed into Scott's chest, Scott resting his forehead on top of Mitch's head and whispering comforting words to him.

After Mitch calmed down, he pulled away from Scott and wiped his tears.

Scott felt bad for him, he looked so broken.

"Do you wanna go home, baby"? Scott asked.

Mitch nodded his head, "Y-yes p-please".

Scott nodded and held his arms out for Mitch, an invitation for Scott to carry him.

Mitch smiled at little and wrapped his arms around Scott's neck, jumping onto Scott's waist and resting his head against Scott's shoulder.

Scott kept a hand under Mitch's bottom and one on the back of his head as Scott carried Mitch out of the building and to the car.
