Monday:

They laid in bed all day, not saying a word and soaking in each other's arms.

Scott pulled Mitch closer to him, kissing the top of his head, "Are you okay, Mitch?" Scott asked.

Mitch sighed, "You don't have to talk to me if you don't want to." Mitch murmured.

"What're talking about?"

"I can tell you're still mad because you called me 'Mitch'. You usually give me cute pet names and you only call me by my name when you're still mad at me."

"Mitch, im not mad at y-"

"See? You just did it again."

"Are you trying to start another argument?" Scott asked, not being rude, just curious as to why they were bickering about this.

Mitch pushed himself off of Scott's chest and looked at Scott, brows furrowed, "Honey.... no- I just- I didn't," Mitch shook his head and looked away from Scott.

Scott could tell Mitch was still hurt by their argument, that's the most intense argument they've ever had in their relationship.

They've never said those things to each other, they've never even argued about something like that. Scott always knew that Mitch loved him and that Mitch would never ever flirt with another- oh.... it's Scott.

That has to be it, right? Scott never starts argument about that stuff... something must be going on with Scott.

Mitch looked back at Scott, "Are you okay, Scottie? Like, are you doing alright? Do you wanna talk about anything?"

Scott cleared his throat and shook his head slightly, his right hand rubbing his left arm.

Mitch frowned and moved to a sitting position, sitting right next to Scott's torso and facing Scott, Mitch put a hand on Scott's hand, stilling Scott's movements, "Talk to me." Mitch whispered.

"There's nothing to talk about." Scott said.

"Baby-...."

Scott shook his head, "No," he whispered, "Mitchie," Scott said, looking at Mitch.

"Are you sure you're okay? I know I'm being annoying, and I keep asking you but... but I know, that you know, that I love you so so much. And that I'd never ever flirt with someone else, id never do that to you. I know you know that. So I was thinking something was wrong, that you were upset or that maybe I did something and I didn't know and-,"

"You didn't do anything. I was having a really bad day, and for no fucking particular reason, I was just so mad and upset and I wasn't even understanding myself. I was having a great morning and then after that, it's like everything just seemed to annoy me but not you! You never annoy me. But-"

"It's okay, Scottie. You don't have to explain yourself. I understand. I wish you would've told me you were having a bad day, or a bad time, I would've, like, helped cheer you up or something."

"I'm sorry. I just, I didn't even understand why I was upset, and I was also angry because I never get upset and I'm not a weak fucking pussy, I'm fucking not."

Mitch smiled slightly, "I know you're not, baby," Mitch said, setting a hand on Scott's cheek and letting Scott nuzzle his face into Mitch's hand.

"I'm glad we could talk it out, Scottie."

Scott smiled slightly, looking up at Mitch, "I love you, mein schatz."

There's the pet name.

Mitch smiled and pecked Scott's lips, "I love you too, my babyboy."
