The human Petrova doppelganger couldn't help but, once again, roll her green eyes at Klaus for the thousandth time tonight from how happy and easy going Klaus was being when he was literally about to kill three innocent people. "Go to hell," Emily muttered as she glared over at the arrogant hybrid before she took up anxiously pacing the small space in her ring of fire. The Gilbert girl honestly could only think about her twin sister at the moment. Emily was so worried that she was going to end up failing and she wouldn't be able to protect her twin sister - something the Gilbert girl has always prided herself in.

The feared hybrid released a deep chuckle at Emily's spunk and fearless attitude before Klaus teasingly told his doppelganger with a false pout, "don't be like that, sunflower." A large grin quickly took over the hybrid's face before he concluded with excitement practically bouncing out of his body, "the fun has just begun."

"The fun will begin when I finally kill your annoying ass," the Gilbert girl muttered, mostly to herself, while she continued to pace the small space in her ring of fire as she also tried to ignore the cocky sound of Klaus' voice and tried to figure out how she was going to get Elena out of here alive.

Steven's Quarry soon grew dead silent for about a minute or two after Emily's smart mouthed comment - except for the fact that Jules was continuing to moan in pain from her bones constantly breaking - before Greta interrupted the quietness as she asked the hybrid in front of the stone bowl that would be the main focus point of the sacrifice, "do you have the moonstone?"

A large grin immediately pulled onto Klaus' face as he nodded his head before he pulled out the milky item from the pocket of his jacket pocket. "I spent 500 years looking for this," the hybrid commented as he ran his rough thumb across the smooth surface of the moonstone. Klaus released a small chuckle and commented as he handed the item over to Greta, despite his statement, "I hate to part with it."

Greta ignored everything Klaus was saying and everything around her as she seriously and silently accepted the moonstone from the hybrid before she glanced towards the dark sky. The witch stared up at the vast stars above her before she nodded her head as she realized that it was finally time. "The moon has passed its apex," Greta stated before she focused her brown irises onto the awaiting hybrid. "Remember everything you need to do?" The witch inquired.

Klaus silently nodded his head before he affirmed, "I remember."

"Good," Greta mumbled before she carefully placed the milky rock into the stone bowl in front of her that had been warming up with flames lighting up the center. Greta waited until the moonstone had slowly turned into ashes as sparks flew up into the dark sky before she began to chant the first part of the spell as she got prepared for the next step.

Klaus, who had studied the sacrifice and its spell practically everyday of his life after he found out that he had a dormant hybrid side, knew it was now his turn, so he turned around and walked through the vast Steven's Quarry as he slowly approached the three rings of fire to end someone's life to finally obtain his true nature.
