[No one's POV]

The 'date' took place on Saturday that day, almost a month and a half since the dare had been set. Of course, the thought of this whole relationship they had was build off some dare still taunted Kirishima, but he tries to continue as normal. As if this all was  supposed to be fake but actually was real.

The two were both looking forward to that day though.

Kirishima had rummaged around his closet for over an hour, on the day before, debating on which outfit he was going to pick. In the end, he went for something 'casual'. It was supposed to be a friendly meet-up, but he couldn't help but get the impression that he had to dress up into something smart, but would also make him look good.

On the day, Kirishima had gotten completely ready thirty minutes before he had to leave. He had settled for a plain cream v-neck t-shirt accompanied with some dark blue jeans and a black, buttonless waistcoat, as well as some black trainers he thought looked casual enough to compliment the rest of his outfit. He decided to keep his hair out instead of gelling it back.

Only, there was one problem with his look.

His eyes constantly drift towards the ring piercing on his eyebrow, snapping away to remind himself that he couldn't remove it. It was his first and only piercing. The one he had gotten with Bakugo a few years ago. He had sworn not to remove it because that was how precious it was to him!

But, he keeps looking at it. It didn't look good on him with the look he was going for. He's already gone to the extent of putting some perfume on, so what was stopping him from removing that ring? Besides, it was only for one outing.

Yeah...

One outing...

He made his decision to remove it, getting a little too self-conscious of it, and looks at himself with a huff of relief, the ring laying still on the desk.

When the two met up, they knew that they had both been stressing about what to wear and, by the blatantly obvious attempts to please each other, had both come pretty overdress. Needless to say, they both adored the other's outfit.

Kaminari wore an open red and black flannel shirt over a plain black top, tracing perfectly over his slim hips, a pair of run-down faded jeans completing his look. He had applied some mascara he had 'borrowed' from his mother, so his eyes looked brighter - vibrant - feminine and delicate. He smelt of the pungent scent of apples, intoxicating Kirishima's nose. He loved it.

"Y-You ready to go?" Kirishima was practically buzzing with nerves. This felt so much like a date and, considering that he was the 'bad boy's best friend', it was... comical to see him scared. But it's not to say that Kaminari wasn't experiencing a similar feeling!

"Y-Yeah!" he exclaimed through a stutter, the two walking side by side to the ice-cream pallor.

Kirishima was too scared to hold hands with Kaminari, knowing that he didn't want to spook him. There were no random bursts of confidence that helped him with his situation, like in the movies, so their hands never touch during their walk.

The quiet walk to the pallor.

The first few minutes were like this, even when they entered the shop. They shuffle around like penguins, waiting nervously for the other to break the ice. Even after they had ordered their ice-creams - Kirishima getting chocolate, Kaminari getting bubblegum - they were still silence. A few more minutes pass where their eyes flicker from how gorgeous the other looked to take another lick from their ice-creams.
