This time, Denki was going to do it!

Too long has he watched Katsuki and Izuku pin helplessly onto each other and neither of the two having the initiative to confess. Damn them and their anxieties!

He's tried all he could to get them together. He tried truth or dare but, even with the intimate scenarios he put them through, neither of them could get the hint! Then he tried trapping them in an elevator. Well, he did suffer a sanction from Aizawa (which definitely wasn't fun whilst all his friends went out to watch the new movie) but what made it worse was that nothing actually happened in that elevator. He would know - the camera he'd installed had caught everything they'd said and done with each other and, to put it simply, nothing happened.

But it was Christmas.

Which meant a party.

Which meant mistletoe.

He was planning to do it this time and it was bound to succeed, especially now that Mina was in on the plan as well!

The plan was simply this: Denki would place a sprig of mistletoe and stick it under the doorway, and would make a few excuses to get the two under there. Then, Mina would point it out, and the two would then be forced to kiss. Mina, being Mina, would then take a video or some photos and start an album book for their wedding.

All they needed, now, was an opportunity.

Attempt one could be described in one word: pathetic.

Mina quite literally face-palmed.

Denki gently started to barge Izuku under the doorway that connected the hallway from the living room. The mistletoe was taped to a place that wasn't extremely obvious - only to the two schemers. Getting Izuku there was easy. He was distracted, in conversation with Mashirao, and didn't notice. Katsuki, on the other hand proved to be more... deadly?

Well, let's just say that Katsuki had quite easily caught on and Denki got an explosion to the mouth.

"What the hell was that?!" Mina cackled, rubbing Denki's hair affectionately. Denki, meanwhile, sulked quietly.

But was up in a few minutes! Attempt two was more lighter on behalf of Denki's health! Still, it was obvious that Katsuki was growing suspicious. He started with Katsuki first, since Izuku showed no signs of moving from that spot. He asked Katsuki to "come over here" and hoped that the two of them would stay put long enough for Mina to notice and announce what she needed to. And he'd successfully brought Katsuki under the doorway, taking a few long steps away from the ash blonde.

Only to find Izuku was walking away.

"Midoriya!" he yelled, maybe a little too loudly, and Katsuki rolls his eyes, muttering something along the lines of  "Stupid Deku" under his breath and moving to do his own things. Damn Katsuki for being so smart!
