💮From Rose Kingdom To Land Of Lamination: Part 14💮

3rd POV
"So this is where you're born." M/n said, trailing next to F/n.

"Yup! Born and raised in the Rose Kingdom!" King said smiling.

"And you still get into trouble." F/n added.

"I'm a troublemaker, F/n. You know me as much as I know you." King shrugged lightly. "C'mon! I gotta show you all around since some of are first timers here."

"Lead the way then, King." The twins said as King nodded.

When they soon step into the Rose y, they went in awe. Tall buildings and beautiful and yet simple homes decorated the streets. Even the cobblestone path had card suits on them. Rose bushes were seen in every vase and garden, mostly reds and whites.

"Huh?" Diamant stopped as he noticed something. "Hatter's Tea Café?"

"Oh! This is Dorm Head Made Hatterson's family Café. They rival against the Clover Family Bakeshop not so far from here." King said to Diamant.

"Huh, that's interesting." Diamant said.

"This place is fitting for the Queen Of Hearts herself." M/n said, still in awe.

"You can say that again." Aether and Zaphyer chuckled out.

"Say, isn't this where the famous Rosehearts family lives?" Aether said to King.

"Correct! They've been very popular recently. Even I heard about some of the Rosehearts family's achievements." King said to Aether.

"There's a lot of people here." M/n said.

"Majority of them are tourists from different lands. The Rose Kingdom is mostly popular with it's Tea Times." King said to M/n. "Speaking of Tea Time, since you guys are here, why don't you relax for a bit and have a cup of tea or two?"

"Sounds good to me!" The twins said. "What about you three?"

"Sure." F/n nodded with a small smile.

"I've always wanted to try the foods and drinks from different lands, so I'm down." Diamant said.

"Same here!" M/n said cheerfully.

"Okay then! Let's head to one of my favorite spots for Tea Time!" King said as he led them all to a red and black building with a bunny sign on it.

"This place looks nice." F/n muttered out.

"This is one of my favorites! The White Rabbit!" King said with a bright smile.

"THE White Rabbit!? As in, the 5 Star Café and Bakery!?" Diamant yelped out.

"AYUP!" King chuckled. "C'mon! The Tea, pastries, and baked goods are amazing here!" Without hesitation, the group went in the White Rabbit.

They all chatted and caught up with one another, sharing experiences they had, and told some stories about what their families did, what they did, and other topics that took their interests.

"Gotta say, this place is pretty amazing." F/n mumbled out before taking a sip of his Earl grey tea.

"The White Rabbit isn't reviewed as a 5 Star for nothing, F/n." Diamant said to F/n.

"I gotta come back here and try out the other bakeries and shops. Maybe get a chance to see the Clover Family's Bakery. They did say it's one of, if not, the best bakery in all of Rose Kingdom after all." M/n said as she took another macaroon.

"Maybe next Roadtrip we'll might do that!" Aether said.

"We better. I like this place!" Zaphyer added.

"Haha! Glad y'all are enjoying my Homeland!" King smiled brightly. "Oh yeah, who's Homeland are we gonna go to next?"

"Fritz's." F/n answered.

"Oh." King gulped. "Well, the sooner we all get there, the faster we all leave. That place never fails to give me the shivers."

"Hm? I'm lost. What's our next destination?" M/n asked.

"The Land Of Lamination." The twins said to M/n in unison. This made Diamant and M/n freeze in their seats.

"The Land Of Lamination?! As in, the Land where death romes?!" M/n yelped out.

"Don't worry about it." F/n said. "Fritz always updates me about the status of their Homeland. He said only a few ghosts float around there and nothing that could harm us. If there were, the Ministry Of Magic would be their in a snap to take care of it."

"That's reassuring." They all sighed in relief.

"Wait, how come Fritz updates you and not all of us?!" King snapped his head to F/n.

"Because you, and Elliott always fall asleep when he talks about his home." F/n said.

"Could you blame us? The Land Of Pyroxene is more exciting than the Land Of Lamination." King sighed out.

"Whatever." F/n rolled his eyes. "We should get going. Fritz might be waiting for us by now."

"Right." They all nodded as they soon left. King already had his bag ready for the trip. After King said goodbye to his dad, they set off to the Land Of Lamination reluctantly.

"Why of all places does Fritz's Homeland has to be the land of death?" King sighed out.

"Because they like it there, King. It fits well with them." Zaphyer said to the male.

"Hm... It's getting dark. We should set up camp for the time being and head to Fritz's in the morning. What do you guys say?" Diamant said.

"Well, it is 5:53 after all." Aether muttered out.

"Let's see now. Maggy!" Zaphyer called out.

"You called, Zap?" A talking Magpie swooped down to Zaphyer. It was his Familiar.

"Is there an open area for us to set up cap before it gets dark?" Zaphyer asked.

"I didn't see anything just yet that is close by." Maggy shook her head lightly.

"Meg!" Aether called out to his Magpie.

"Yes, Aether?" Meg asked.

"Is there a clearing near by for us to set up camp?" Aether asked.

"Not yet. It'll take a while for you all to find a clearing." Meg said to Aether.

"I see. Thank you." The twins said.

"No problem." The Magpies said to the twins.

"So their Familiars are Magpies." M/n muttered out.

"There's an old saying about it." King said.

"Oh yeah? Well, what is it?" Diamant asked.

""One For Sorrow, Two For Joy"." The twins said.

"Explain." M/n raised an eyebrow, intrigued with the quote.

"You see, me and Zaphyer have always been each other's sides no matter what, and we always find joy in it." Aether said.

"But at some points in our lives, we kinda weren't with each other. And those times weren't all joyful at all." Zaphyer added.

"So the saying goes, "One For Sorrow" means no one is happy being alone, and "Two For Joy" means even if you have one another, you're never gonna be sad or lonely ever." F/n added.

"Interesting." Diamant and M/n muttered out.

"Hello there little Beasties, are you lost this evening?"
