"Good... morning..." I mumbled under my breath when I sat up from the bed and push the blanket away. Yawning out loud, I rubbed my eyes to look around blearily, wondering why it was still dark.

Grabbing my phone from the nightstand, I turned it on and saw the time. My eyes widen in disbelief as it was only 12 in the morning. What was the reason that I woke up so early in the night? Did I hear something?

I recalled the memory when Jungkook had told me to sleep early- is that why I woke up because I have enough sleep? I yawned once again, scratching my hair as I wondered how long I've slept. I could've sworn it was more than 12 hours.

I've never slept that long... the longest I've slept was around 8-10 hours.

Noticing the date, it was quite familiar but I couldn't quite grasp it. Oh welp, it should be nothing special... but still, it would be better to remember. Slapping my head, I scoffed in annoyance as I jump out of bed to look for Jungkook as he wasn't beside me.

It was strange as I wondered if he wandered off to search for the other murderers with the others, excluding me to keep me safe. After all, before going to sleep, he did tell me he needs to talk to the other members about something.

Walking over to the door that was located beside the television, I knock softly on the door to see if anyone would answer. As few seconds goes by, there weren't any sounds of steps or groans of waking up so sighing hesitantly, I grab the door knob and slowly push the door open as though I was reluctant to see what was inside.

As expected, the room looks identical to mine and Jungkook's but except it was a bit more messier. There was an extra bed which isn't a surprise and there was clothes piled neatly on the bed but from afar it looks messy.

Confused at the loneliness that the room brings as though it was abandon, I blinked in perplexment as I continue looking around the room for any signs of humanity but there wasn't. 

It was as though everyone had disappeared and left me.

Where could they possibly go very early in the morning? Yoongi isn't even here despite 'quitting' the detective group and he's as stubborn as a mule.

Something must've happen... but what? What happen that I wasn't aware of but oblivious? At this point I just felt terrified that something must've happen to them for them to not be here and I just wanted to lay on the floor and cry.

Before slumping down onto the floor, the lights were suddenly turned on which blinded my eyes and I yelped as I covered my eyes to protect it. Several things popped beside me and small stringy things came flying towards me and I thought I was getting attacked. Removing my hands from my eyes, I started going into a fighting position when all the detective members faces, including Taehyung came into my view.

They surrounded me and started clapping, with Yoongi holding a bright blue cake that was towered and decorated with strawberries, whip cream and three candles that was lit.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!" Everyone sang simultaneously and I stood there stunned. I could've sworn my mouth was wide open in disbelief. "Happy birthday to Y/N! Happy birthday to you!" They continued and I was speechless as they started applauding enthusiastically.

I drifted my gaze towards Jungkook who was directly in front of me and I grimaced as a tear rolled down my cheek all of the sudden. They suddenly stop clapping and Jungkook cheerful smile was turned into an anxious gaze as he walks towards me with quick steps.

"What's wrong?" He asked me and I slapped him on the shoulder and he backs away, frowning at me.

"YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA HOW TERRIFIED I WAS WHEN I CAME INTO THIS ROOM AND SAW NO ONE!" I yelled, both emotionally sad and happy. "I THOUGHT I WAS LEFT ALONE IN THIS COLD-ASS PLACE AND IT WAS JUST SO- UGH," I groaned to demonstrate how I was feeling and everyone ended up in silence, staring at me as though they were either judging me or blankly.

A few seconds pass and everyone started laughing amusedly at me and I just pouted, sniffing sadly and Jungkook came closer to wipe my tears with a thumb and to remove the small colourful stringy things.

"Are you scared of the dark?" Jin teased as though he found it funny. "Come on, is not like we're that horrible enough to leave you alone."

"And like we didn't plan this," Jimin said innocently. "Most of us had planned for like a whole day party for you on your birthday but Jungkook had insisted to surprise you around midnight as he assumed you might wake around that time."

Bruh.

"How did you know?" I questioned, looking suspiciously at Jungkook and he just grinned at me, intertwining his hands with my uninjured one to lean in and peck me on the cheek.

"OOH LA LA!" Everyone started swooning simultaneously and I rolled my eyes but blushed profusely.

"Can you not make me feel single!?" Yerim complained, glaring at Jungkook who was ignored her and had his gaze on me instead.

"Is okay Yerim, you're a double," Taehyung replied which didn't make any sense at all but he have a unique personality. "Anyways, Y/N can you blow the candles? Is gonna melt the cake soon..." Taehyung said, anxiously staring at the cake and Yoongi nodded in agreement. He came walking towards me and I blew the candles out. Everyone gave another applause, and I grinned.

I wondered whether they were only gonna celebrate my birthday as it was early in the night but Namjoon and Hoseok had brought out plastic plates and utensils out, along with juice and snacks. They also brought out wines which traumatizes me but I just ignore it and smile at Jungkook instead.

"We're staying up all night and sleeping in the morning and afternoon. Pretty unhealthy but we'll do it for you Y/N," Yerim grinned and I grinned.

"You can go ahead and rest if you want," Hoseok replied, passing an exuberant smile. "We're still gonna celebrate without the birthday person!"

Honestly, I feel blessed and happy because people tend to stop celebrating when the birthday person wants to leave. Is gonna be chaotic but I could tell my face was glowing with happiness.

Jungkook tighten his grip a little on me to grab my attention and I looked at him, tilting my head. He cock his head over to the side, pointing over at the balcony as though he wanted to tell me something and I nodded in agreement.
