"Everyone, thank you for attending today's first assembly of the first year," The principal started and I intertwine my hands together nervously as we were on the stage. It was a bit nerve-racking that the whole school was staring at us and I just want to run away. "Today, I won't keep you for long so don't worry and listen patiently to what I got to say."

There were a small group of whispers in the crowd and I passed a look over at the other members who were standing beside me in a straight line across the stage. There were also a few detectives who were involved and the nice authority, Michael, was there too. But they were behind us, as though we were the ones who did most of the work.

I mean, that was true.

"At Anh-Jeon university, we are very proud of each one of you for coping and being patient with us. It was difficult and arduous but we've made it," The principal gave a nod and there were a few cheers in the crowd. "All of you might have heard that the murderers have been eliminated and that the school is brought back to peace once again."

The principal paused to take a deep breath and smiled. "Well, that is in fact, true."

Cheers of happiness and laughter evaporated from the crowd and it was a good sight to see. It was great to see that they were finally happy but at the same time, I feel weird. Is not that I felt sad is just... it doesn't feel complete.

I turned my head to gaze at the people who were standing on the stage. Y/N should be here with us... I thought. It feels incomplete... why are we celebrating without her?

"Firstly I would like to thank these detectives and authorities for helping us arrest the murderers and keeping them captive," The principal smiled at them and gave them a small bow. A small applause was given and I chew my lip.

The detectives had given their respectful bow and had quickly left. I wondered why they were are in rush but they might need to clear more documents.

"Personally, I would like to thank these eight compassionate students," The principal turned to smile at each one of us and gave us a huge bow. Instead of a small applause, we were given a loud and furious applause. The sound of the applause was simultaneously tremendous and it was sincere. I was taken aback that everyone was thankful to us and wanted to tear up.

"Through hard work and determination, the eight of you have achieved something remarkable that not only saves humanity within the school, but you also save the school itself," The principal smiled proudly at us but all I can do is force a smile. I passed a look over at the others and pouted at what I was seeing.

Despite all the positive commotion we were getting, Jungkook had his head drop to avoid the people seeing his tears. He looks like he wasn't in reality but was somewhere else and Namjoon had passed an arm over his shoulder to calm him. The other members were quite similar but they were able to control their tears. Jin was there for each one of them but I could still how heartbroken he felt with the result.

I wanted to cry myself but I hold it in. I elbow Jimin who was beside me and he passed me a sad look. I smiled reassuringly at him before linking arms with him to calm him down.

"Additionally, Lee Y/N, one of the new students has been one of the main reasons why this school has successfully cleared all the murderers," The principal replied, and I could hear him sniffing.

What can I say? It was his own daughter after all. It didn't matter how hostile Y/N is. To the principal, Y/N is still his little girl.

I glance over at Jungkook and could see that he wasn't able to control his tears. He clamped his mouth shut by flattening his hand on it and Namjoon continue reassuring him.

"Unfortunately, an incident happen which resulted in her not being here to celebrate with us but lets all applause-" The principal was cut off when there was another huge applause and I smile in relief. At least they are aware of what she did now.

"What happen to her!?" Someone yelled in the crowd and my eyes widen at the curiosity.

"We should hold a part for her once she comes back!" Someone else yells and I smiled that they were thankful.

"What happened to her was a personal matter and thank you for suggesting to hold a party to thank her but we wouldn't like to cause a fuss. If you want to thank her, is best if you send gifts and letters," The principal smiled at the crowd. "Now, the school will start normally with no more interruptions and I hope you're ready for more assessments to be completed."

"Before I allow you guys to go off and do your own thing, I would like to reward these eight members of our community," He turned to look at us, smiling gratefully.

"I'm giving you an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on those achievements. Eight of you are given two months to rest and you're allowed to do whatever you want, including being able to go outside."
