"Song Yerim. What have you done wrong to have you getting punished like that?"

Jungkook asked, taking a step in front of me to have a better view of her.

"None of your business! What are you doing here??" She said, didn't seem to care that she was bleeding.

The shock of what I was seeing, I stood there with my mouth open, staring at her like an idiot. She notices my stares and frowned.

"What are you still doing here!?" She demanded. "I thought I told you to escape while you can!"

Jungkook huffed in reply.

"Do you think she will without an explanation??" Jungkook asked and Yerim folds her arms and winced in pain.

"If I explain, she will be shaken. Shook like a freshly caught trout. Like she is now!" She said, pointing at me and Jungkook glanced at me then back at Yerim.

"She's a new student, Yerim. You should welcome her, instead of giving her warnings and scaring her to death." Jungkook said tonelessly and Yerim did a massive eye-roll.

"Aren't you being nice? You always play with the new students but now you're acting like a gentleman. And why is that may I ask?" Yerim asked, making Jungkook flushed bright red as he glanced at me.

"How old are you?"

Jungkook asked, making me blink back into reality as I turned to Jungkook.

"Uhm, fifteen. I'm turning sixteen soon though." I murmured, glancing back at Yerim then back at Jungkook as they stare at me with their eyes wide like they were shocked.

"YOU'RE FIFTEEN?!" Yerim and Jungkook shouted simultaneously and I gave a small nod.

"The school policy doesn't allow students below 17 since..." He paused as he stares at me wordlessly.

"Um... Yerim? W- Were y-you the one w-who got beaten up next door??" I stuttered nervously.

Hands on hips, she let out a loud sigh.

"The thing is Y/N, I was the one who got beaten up next door but-"

"Why?" I asked, cutting her off.

"Because... look, you're still new to this environment so is best if you don't know it since-"

"So?? What's wrong with being new? Can't you just tell me?" I interrupted once again and she bit her lip.

"Why are so you so nosy?" Jungkook asked rudely and I frowned at him.

"Why are you still here?" I asked.

"About that..." He mumbled, trying to remember what he came here for and we waited. Arms crossed, he then turned back to Yerim.

"The Halloween event and party is starting in two days in the assembly. Best costume gets the prize and please dress appropriately. Tomorrow, instead of school, we will be told about the event. And oh, please show your roommate around the school so she won't get lost." He said glancing at me and I blinked.

"Of course I will. She's my roommate after all. Now, shoo shoo. Me and my roomie got lots of things to talk about and you're not needed here. But thanks for telling me." She said, placing both of her hands on the boy's back and pushed him outside. I was surprised at her strength since not only she was covered with bruises but is also bleeding. How could she not feel the pain?
