"Baby I got you the 7 plus," I yelled as I came into the house, Avery sat at his desk with his glasses on. I sat in his lap, he wrapped his arms around me before kissing my cheek.
I pulled out the shiny new red iPhone 7 plus. "Oh my God Khadi those things are expensive!" He scolded. "I know but I really wanted to get you an upgrade from that small 6," I said as I turned it on.
"Well thank you! So Darla and I have to go to Santa Monica for this new case," he told me as I set up the new phone. "For how long?" I asked "no longer than 2 weeks," he answered "2 weeks!!" I whined.
"Yes my love, 2 weeks," he said smartly "Averyyy I don't wanna be away from you for that long," I told him. "I don't wanna be away from you either but I have to go, we leave in 2 days," he said, I frowned.
"Okay so I've put in your iCloud account so all of your stuff is synced now just add your fingerprint," I said, handing him the huge phone. Once he added his print, he gently grabbed my left hand and added mine.
He ran his thumb over the huge rock he put on my finger a few months ago before smiling. "What?" I asked "I still can't believe you said yes," he said with a chuckle.
I smiled "I love you," I said, kissing his cheek "I love you," he said as I stood up. "Oh no I'm gonna be away from you for two weeks come here," he said before throwing me over his shoulders and jogging upstairs as I laughed.
