Kylie sat in the passenger seat while Kira sat in the back "you ladies hungry?" I asked "Yes!" They said in sync.
"What do you guys wanna eat?" I asked "Panda Express," the said again. "Woah we really are sisters," Kylie said, turning to her, Kira chuckled "I guess so," she said, I smiled.
"Okay let's get some Panda Express then," I said before parking the truck in the lot. We hopped out and went in before ordering.
"So how old are you?" Kylie asked her "I'm 15," she answered "I've always wanted a big sister! Kian rarely wants to hangout with me, I'm 14," Kylie told her.
"Avery!" The cashier called out, I went to grab the order before sitting their food on the table. "I'm gonna sit over there and make a call, you two can talk about whatever girls talk about," I said, they chuckled.
I sat down in the booth on the other side of the restaurant before texting Khadi
They're getting along so well
She texted back 3 minutes later

Before I could type anything else I received a call, the caller ID read:

A- hey mom what's up?
Avery what's this I hear about you having another kid?
A- Khadi must've told you
Yes, she did. Not because she was mad but because you're also my son
A-yea mom, I have another daughter she's 15
So you cheated on Khadi and knocked up some woman
A- yea mom I've already heard my wife chew me out for that I don't need you doing it too. And let's not mention Alana and Kalin, I'm surprised they haven't called yet
Son, you can't make these type of mistakes, this isn't just some girl, this is your wife and the mother of your children. You have to keep her happy
A- I know mom. I really do love her, but I'm paying the price. She's not wearing her rings and she brought up divorce. Mom I don't know what I'd do if Khadi divorced me
Son she loves you too much. She's just trying to scare you so you don't think about doing anything like that again, and she's right. You can't tell her you love her then turn around and cheat
A- I've done everything I can to get her back, her and Kian are staying at the beach house so she can be away from me. I'm scared that the longer she stays there the more she'll realize how much she doesn't love me and how she doesn't want to be with me anymore. I tried making her come back but she wasn't having it
Son just give a break, I know how impatient you are with her.
A- she's my wife. I don't want her living under a different roof than me, we aren't teenagers. Of course I'm impatient with her
Just give her time to breathe and forgive you. Avery you better not hurt her again. I'll step in if it gets to that. Now, I want to meet your new daughter
A- we can come visit tomorrow, mom she looks just like me

"Wow Avery sounds like a cool dad," Kira said once I finished telling her stories about him. "Yea, he's pretty great," I told her "you ladies ready to go home?" He asked, we nodded before getting up and throwing our trash away.
Once we got home, Kira and I stayed up doing each other's hair and talking about school stuff.
