The ishimaru family were once the rulers of a prosperous and mighty kingdom. Of course, being this meant there were certain perks, like rubbing shoulders with other royals and making connections. For joining two will to do kingdoms makes them even stronger.

And that's how taka meets the love of his life even if it was planned before the two of them were even born no one worries about the little details anyways. Ever since the pair could remember they were told that they were promised to each other. Often visiting each other's homes to get to knowing each other as well as the kingdoms they would come to share one day.

That was until one day things had started to change in the ishimaru kingdom. Debts appeared along with rumors of the current king dropping his hand in not so acceptable business. People begin to leave the kingdom, money and food begin to run low. The other royals who were once 'good friends' with the ishimarus turned their backs to them including the ones that were planning on joining the kingdoms with marriage.

When taka heard of this he was devastated. He never cared about their status as royals, he just loved him and now they were gone because of something that he had no control over. Once the king died, taka took it upon himself to get the kingdom back to some type of normalcy. Believing that if he could get things back in order then his love would return.

It wasn't easy and he had his doubts but when those thoughts appeared he would go in secret to see his love then the stress and worry would just fade away. It was during one of those visits that he saw that another kingdom was there. He saw the families together; he heard the promise they made. On that day a shell returned to the kingdom, one that turned to rage once the door was closed.

Taka locked himself away for weeks. When he was crying, he was tearing his room apart. It was during one of those quieter moments when a thought began. What if they don't want to marry them?

... of course, they don't want to marry them! We were meant to be! We are the ones that are in love not that... that...

It was then that Taka knew what he had to do although it may cause a war if handled incorrectly, he was willing to take that chance. It did take a while before everything was said and done. All the way up to the very last moment, the night before the wedding.

Taka only had one thought in his head that night and nothing was going to stop him. It truly was like a fairytale; the brave prince saves his beloved from those who wish to harm them. Once they were back home taka made sure everything would be ready for when they woke up for tomorrow was their wedding day.

They would be so happy when they realize that they and taka will still be getting married. Then they can both rebuild the kingdom together. Just like in every fairytale it will end happily ever after taka knows it will.
