"MEGAN!"

Edward yelled and I turned to face him. Just then I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.

"EDWARD!"

I shout as I fall to the floor of the Spanish man-of-war.

"Stay with me megan."

Edward begs as he carries me onto the jackdaw.

"RETREAT! BLOODY RETREAT YOU FOOLS!"

Edward shouts as the men begin to jump back on bored. Ann booney, my best friend takes the wheel and stars the jackdaw away.

"Sink those bastards!"

Edward shouts and the cannons fire. He returns his attention to me. He cups my cheek as I hold pressure on the stab wound on my stomach.

"E-edward. In a world w-without gold, we m-might have been h-heros."

I tell him and he smiles lightly.

"Don't go, please don't go. Not when I need you the most."

He says as a tear slips from his eye.

"Edward, I'll always be with you. In here."

I tell him as I get more and more tired. I touch his heart and he puts his hand over mine.

"I love you edward kenway."

I tell him as he smiles.

"Don't close your eyes, please megan. Tell me about your family."

Edward coxes me back to alertness.

"Captain were almost to havana!"

Ann yelled as I looked. I could see havana and we were approaching fast.

"Megan, stay with me. Your not dieing on this fight."

Edward says as I feel us slow down. Edward picks me up as the ship is close enough to the dock.

Edward holds on to me tightly as he jumps of the jackdaws deck and onto the dock.

"DOCTOR! I NEED A BLOODY DOCTOR!"

He yells as I begin to close my eyes.

"Megan keep your eyes open!"

Edward tells me as we run into a building.

"Lay her on the table!"

I hear a unknown voice yell as Edward lays me down.

"What happ..... kenway."

I am beginning to only hear fragments.

"I..... stabbed...... war..... Spaniard."

Edward said and I closed my eyes. I fell unconscious and didn't know what was happening.

'Please, don't take me from Edward just yet.'

I ask in my mind. I see my father, black beard approach me. I run up and hug him and he hugs me back.

"My dear lass, I missed ye. But I'm afraid it's not your time yet."

My father said and I stepped back.

"I miss you father."

I tell him and he nods.

"Aye lass, me too. But you will see me again. Don't you worry, and if you know what's good for Edward and ye's future; go kill harnigold."

My father says and I chuckle as he leaves me again.

When I open my eyes I hear the sound of a man crying. I look to my right and see Edward holding my hand close to his face. His sholders are shaking hard and his sobs are loud.

"E-edward."

I croak out and his head snaps up.

"Megan?"

He asks me and I nod.

"W-what wrong?"

I ask him and he cups my cheeks and kisses my lips. I melt into his kiss as we both needed it.

"You were pronounced dead."

He tells me and I frown.

"Edward I saw my father. He told me to have us kill harnigold. He's a sperit now so I think we should."

I tell Edward and he laughs. He kisses me again with a smile.

"Gosh I don't know what I would do without your smart remarks and humor."

He tells me and I chuckle.

"Get some rest, I'll be right here when you wake up."

Edward tells me as he kisses my forehead. I smile and close my eyes.

"Sleep well my strong, beautiful, and amazing lover."
