"I would get Arthur and your father and come with me." My mother knocked on the door, and went inside, I heard her explain what was going on, and the three of them quickly came back outside.

"Lead the way." Arthur said, not knowing the directions most like. I sensed that my clone was coming back, I could give it more mana, or just replace it.

We all started to walk toward the teleportation gate at a steady pace in silence. Elder Virion and Arthur were in front, I walked beside my mother and father.

The door that leads to the teleportation gate was open, guards were everywhere on the walls, soldiers from the dungeon kept on coming out of the portal, it looked like they were all tired, some even had their weapons in their hands.

"There's Helen." Arthur pointed at the leader of the Twin Horns. She was walking down the platform that led to the portal frame. Her bow was on her back, her armor was broken, but she looked angry.

"Helen!" My mother and father made their way over to her. The look of anger faded away at the sight of all of us. Arthur and I joined our parents, leaving Elder Virion behind as he stared at the portal waiting for Tessia.

"It's good everyone is okay." Arthur told her as she hugged each of us. "Well, not everyone, but you —-"

"I know what you mean, Arthur." Helen laid a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"I should have stayed behind; I could have helped." Arthur said with a sorrowful tone.

"Don't think like that." Helen told him. "Veer, you saved a lot of people, with your clone, I didn't think it was necessary, but it appears it was." She spoke, but as she did, you could tell she was tired.

"Good thinking." My dad nudged me.

"Helen, let's get you to the medical wing to rest." My mother grabbed her arm and began to escort her out of the room.

That's when I walked through the portal, well, my clone of me with a cloak on, and the hood up. "Ahh, here."

My father, Arthur, and I started at my approaching figure. "That's your clone?" Arthur said.

"Yep." The clone answered standing in front of us. "Before you ask, I have my own consciousness, but I do as I am told to do."

"Oh." Arthur didn't know how my spell worked. "What exactly happened?"

The clone of me spoke. "As we were leaving, a massive horde appeared, and started attacking the soldiers unexpectedly. I jumped in and started to use ice magic, slaughtering them, while I did that, I used illusion magic to buy some time for the other soldiers. The older adventurers stayed back with me as I did. My orders were to make sure no one we knew died, so I made sure to protect the Twin Horns and Tessia."

"Veer, what about everyone else?" Arthur asked me, probably upset I let others die, so the people we cared about lived.

"It's a clone, it can't protect everyone." I told him honestly. "But it tried its best." I reached my hand out, and canceled out the spell, causing blood to fall to the ground. "The clone served its purpose."

"I guess you're right." Arthur agreed with me, the clone didn't have my strength, it probably had silver core strength, with ice and illusion powers. "Where's Tess?"

"Her team was behind the clone." I knew this because I had all the memories the clone had.

That's when the portal shined like it did usually, and Tessia walked through. I watched as Arthur shot toward her as fast as he could and hugged her immediately.

"He loves her." My father said to me as the two of us watched.

"Yeah, I think so." We made our way over to them. "Tess." I said with a smile as she parted away from Arthur and hugged me. "It's good to see that you are okay."
