My little girl and boy were running around the house playing hide and seek when I received a text from Michael. 'It's my birthday soon and I'd love to see Danny for my birthday beth. I miss being your friend please call me x' I felt tears fall down my face. "Mom what's wrong?" My 10 year old son asked as he looked for Louise. "Nothing I just need a moment" I sniffed and smiled. I remembered all the good times we had together and it felt like yesterday.

"I will count to 10 and I want you to give me back my Xbox game" mike warned, I ran out the room and round the house as he chased me. "Beth give it back" He dived on top of me. "Okay okay." I giggled and passed him the game back. "Thankyou" He groaned. "I promise to never take your games again" I giggled. "And I pinky promise whenever you need me, whenever your in trouble I will be there to make it better. We're best friends forever and ever" He held my pinky and pulled it up to eye level, I giggled and hugged him. "I promise, we're best friends forever" I mumbled into his shoulder.

"Mommy, someone's calling you" I was shaken out of it by Louise shaking my arm. I looked at the caller and it was Mikey. "Hello stranger." I sniffled into the phone. "Beth? It's so good to hear your voice, so can I see Danny for my birthday?" He pleaded "Mikey remember that pinky promise we made years ago? I'm still sticking to that. You can see him but no luke okay, I can't go through hurting all over again." I sniffled, just thinking about it was breaking my heart unto pieces. "I remember that promise like it was yesterday, Thankyou for letting me see him." He squeaked. "He might not remember you mike but I will show him some photos of you and hin when he was little. I will meet you at the beach tomorrow afternoon Mikey, I love you guys and miss you" I choked out, Danny hugged me tightly and stroked my hair like luke used to. "Don't cry beth, cause now I'm crying and everyone in the shop thinks I'm a weirdo." He sniffled. "I'm sorry it's just... I miss you and Ashton and calum so much and just your text broke my heart, the day luke broke my heart I lost 3 amazing friends who were like my brothers and ...that sucks dick" I sniffed, Danny pulled away and looked at me. "Mom don't swear!" He nagged. "Sorry dan, go keep an eye on your sister for me I'm okay sweetie pie." I told him as I stroked his cheek. "Mum I'm a man, don't call me sweetie pie." He whined and ran off. "Did you hear that?" I asked Michael, he was chuckling on the other side of the phone. "Yeah, he's a man beth don't call him sweetie pie" I said quietly. "Well technically he is the man of the house and he helps me out a lot. "I said with a slightly happier tone. "Can I talk to him?" He asked cautiously. I thought about it for a little and put him on speaker phone. "Danny! Someone wants to talk to you.!" He came bounding in the room and sat on the seat next to me. "Gday" He said, he had a strong Australian accent and was the spitting image of luke. "Hi dude, you won't remember me but I'm your uncle Mikey...do you remember me?" He asked shakily. "I don't know, did you have red hair?" Danny asked him slowly. "YES! That's me, and I made that lego house with you." Mikey giggled. "You stood up and fell on it and I cried." Danny laughed as he looked at me with happy eyes. "Mikey I'm gonna go, I have a guitar calling my name. Bye dude" Danny said before running of with Louise into the music room. "Play you own guitar and not mine." I called to them. "They play?" Mike said. The sound of Danny shredding flooded the house followed by the sound of Louise on the drums. "Yeah he does, can you hear him?!" I exclaimed. "Th...The kids shredding like crazy! Who taught him that?" Mike yelled excitedly. "I did." I giggled. "Your laughter is music to my ears, why didn't you call.me?" He asked. "Michael, when I left luke I left everyone including my mother. Danny stayed at hers for 2 days then I didn't talk to her again." I sniffed. "Oh beth, I'm sorry" He cooed. "It's fell in love and I fell hard Michael but now I know that love doesn't exist but lies do" I sighed. My heart broke so much that i gave up on finding love. "Love is out there somewhere for you, you just need to find it." He cooed. "I fell hard mike and I'm too scared to fall again so being with my dan and ...myself is enough." I sniffed. I took the cigarettes out my bag and lit one up. "You know he is sorry beth, it was a mistake" Mikey said softly, I exhaled the smoke, the cigarette was snacked out my hand and put out in the ash tray. "No mom, you said no more smoking" dan sternly said as he pointed his finger at me, mike was laughing at me and u laughed too. "Danny I'm sorry it won't happen again" I kissed his forehead and sent him back off. "Sorry about that" I mumbled into the phone. "Nah its cool, I gotta go beth so I will meet you tomorrow at the beach." "By the pier, don't leave us waiting" I giggled and hung up. I walked into my music room and saw my little angels playing music. Shit! Nobody knows about Louise! Shitty shit shit. Looks like my secret is going to come out.
