So, this is a second part to this imagine for Lilytina87. I hope that you all enjoy.

Arthur sat apprehensively in his apartment. He had rushed home as quickly as he could, determined that he was going to do all he could to make his apartment as presentable as possible for when (Y/n) arrived. He had tried to explain that she shouldn't expect anything fancy, that it wasn't in the best part of town, and that it was a little, well, a little shabby. But (Y/n) had assured him that she didn't mind, that she was looking forward to seeing his little home. And that no matter what he thought, it would certainly be better than spending the day in the hotel.

Arthur and (Y/n) had been in the diner for hours talking and laughing as if the two had never been apart. But to Arthur it had felt like only minutes, especially when he walked her back to her hotel in the early hours of Christmas morning, and reluctantly had to leave her. (Y/n) had assured him that she would be at his apartment later that day, that she would have a surprise for him, and she couldn't wait to continue their conversation.

Arthur looked at his watch, wondering what time (Y/n) had meant by later. Admittedly he had been up for hours, continuing his endeavours to try and make a silk purse out of the sow's ear of his apartment, but now as he sat on his sofa, he finally realised that this was as good as it was going to get.

Reaching over to the table, Arthur picked up the yearbook that he had managed to find in a box that had been stuffed in the back of a cupboard. A book that he hadn't seen since the day he got it. Flicking through the pages, Arthur smiled as he found the picture of (Y/n), his own photo next to hers on the page. He couldn't help but shudder as he looked on his own visage, his mind going back to all those terrible years that he had had to endure at school. But the picture of (Y/n) made him smile, as did the inscription that she had left him on the page.

He had never taken any notice of book, having thrown it in the box as soon as he had got home. But now as he read it, he couldn't help but think that maybe (Y/n) had liked him as much as he had liked her when they were at school together. And last night she had stated that his wonderful nature was one of the reasons that she had liked him. Also that she had wanted to ask him to be her prom date.

Carefully, Arthur traced his fingers over the outline of her face on the page. She had always been beautiful, but he could see in her eyes the sadness that she had always tried to hide. A sadness that only someone who had also been through such things, could see. Maybe that was why it had taken so long for him to recognise her last night. Why the connection between the smiling bright eyed woman that he had inadvertently knocked down, and the name had not matched. The sadness was no longer behind her beautiful eyes. The negative emotion had been replaced by hope, happiness and life.

Suddenly a loud knock on the door alerted Arthur to a presence outside. Eagerly he jumped from the sofa and made his way over to the door, opening it to be greeted by a pair of attractive legs, and a large box overfilled with Christmas decorations.

"Hi. Is that you Arthur?" A voice asked, before a smiling face appeared from around a strand of thick, bright tinsel.

"(Y/n)? What's all this?" Arthur asked, as the box was pushed into his arms. Arthur finding himself turned around and pushed back into his apartment.

"Wellllllll. You said that you didn't have any real decorations or anything for Christmas day. So, I thought that I would bring Christmas with me." (Y/n) began, as she carried yet another box into the apartment.

"This morning I went to the storage unit where all my things are being kept, and I managed to find all these decorations." (Y/n) chuckled, as she took the box from Arthur's arms and dropped it on the sofa.
