For this the LORD has spoken to me:
"As a lion roars, and a young lion over his prey (When a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him, He will not be afraid of their voice
Nor be disturbed by their noise), so the LORD of hosts will come down to fight for Mount Zion and for its hill.
"Like birds flying about,
so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it;
Passing over, He will preserve it."
Isaiah 31:4,5
Jerusalem is God's city, and He will protect it. A multitude of shepherds is pretty interesting - are they countries? This will be another shot for God to show His greatness. Tell God that you love Him.
This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
We shall also reign with.
Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.
