saying, "If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
Luke 19:42
Jesus is speaking as He rides into Jerusalem. Peace comes through Jesus the Christ and yet the chief priests and the scribes seek to destroy Jesus. They also made the temple into a "den of thieves."
This is my third consecutive time in Luke, each verse or passage is incredibly powerful. Peter denying Christ; the Pharisees and scribes denying Christ; and Jesus saying this is all ok, but do not think of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Not in that order, but pretty incredible nonetheless, God is such a wonderful teacher.
Seek the Father through the Son, not too hard, for some maybe. Harder for others, I don't know why, but spread God's love. It all starts with love; and on that note, tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
