     Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
                Hebrews 12:11

     I needed this verse; oh did I need it.  I have questioned myself and what God wants from me.  I am more than willing, but I don't know what He wants.
     Two people have recently told me, "impressive" when first I said that I have read the Bible twice and am on my third time. Why the word "impressive?"  I didn't tell them to use that word - that word really pierced my heart.
     I shouldn't have said anything; I am doing what God wants me to do, so there is nothing "impressive" about it.  People don't get it, they just don't.  This is the vanity in man's eyes, the same vanity that I trying so hard to avoid.
     Maybe I took it the wrong way.  They don't mean anything bad, or do they?  They could be patronizing me, both used the word "impressive" - I don't know and it doesn't matter.
     I'm tired and need to quit.  Everything I am and everything I possess is because of God.  I need to  tell Him that I love Him - please do the same.

Note - I should have read the Bible a hundred times by now - that is my point.

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.
