For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame---who set their mind on earthly things.

The world is full of these kind of people. People have grown selfish and more anti-social as my years have passed. Oh, they are great about telling you how good and generous they are, just more lies for us to hear.
Society has done a great job of shoving God out of its way; but let me tell you something - He is still there, waiting for your return to Him. We have to take the time to seek Him. So read His Word, and by all means, tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
