Peter, James, and John saw Elijah and Moses talking with Jesus. I read on because that is what I do; I rarely just read the verse or passage I open to. I actually kinda recognized the reference verse, Malachi 4:5 -
Behold I will send you Elijah the
prophet
Before the coming of the great and
dreadful day of the LORD.
This is end times prophecy. Why? John the Baptist came before the crucifixion of Christ. Also, all the letters of LORD are capitalized.
I think Elijah and Moses (maybe Enoch)are the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation. I thought it may have been Elijah and Elisha, wrong again. I still could be wrong, but that's ok. Tell God that you love Him.
This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.
