This is weird because I have posted verses 11-13 before, and I know I have posted the above verse before - it is from the movie Fury with Brad Pitt. This may be the third time - I will have to check sometime.
The reference verse is Genesis 1:26. Our image confused me, but I figure God is talking about Jesus and Him - especially since Jesus came of the flesh. I still think it is weird, and I sorta remember catching it, one of the times I read it.
Maybe it is saying that we should be ready to do whatever God wants. That is easy to say, but extremely hard to do. Are you prepared to be sent by God? Tell Him that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
