Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad; for he had desired for a long time to see Him, because he had heard many things about Him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by Him.
                              Luke 23;8

      Herod needed to wait around four days, then he would have seen a miracle.  People always seemed to want Jesus to prove Himself, or maybe they believed in Jesus and wanted to see His power.  Jesus humbly accepted His fate, it was His Father's will.  Tell God that you love Him.

This is a faithful saying:

     For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
     If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
     If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
     If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
     He cannot deny Himself.
           2 Timothy 2:11-13
