And the LORD said to Moses: "Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;
"set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation, and inaugurate him in their sight.
Numbers 27:18,19
I have been memorizing a new verse; wanna hear it?
"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.
Joshua 1:5
God knows what I am up to, good or bad. Joshua took over for Moses, an extremely hard job, and had to lead the people of Israel into the "Promised Land." What a warming thought, knowing God is with you.
Joshua had a huge responsibility, and remember this area is occupied, meaning conquering of people is at hand. Moreover, could you imagine taking over for Moses? Think on that and tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
