Now it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and encamped against it; and they built a siege wall against it all around.
Jeremiah 52:4

The wall lasted until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah, so did the besiegement - this all created severe famine. Nebuchadnezzar, by way of Nebuzaradan his captain of the guard, captured 4,600 Jews and took them to Babylon. The temple was destroyed and the valuables were also taken to Babylon. Tell God that you love Him.

This is a faithful saying:

     For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
     If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
     If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
     If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
     He cannot deny Himself.
           2 Timothy 2:11-13
