And again the word of the LORD came to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying,
"Speak to Zerubabbel, governor of Judah, saying:

I will shake heaven and earth.
I will overthrow the throne of
kingdoms;
I will destroy the strength
of the Gentile kingdoms.
I will overthrow the chariots
And those who ride in them;
The horses and their riders shall
come down,
Every one by the sword of his brother.

'In that day,' says the LORD of hosts, 'I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,' says the LORD, and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,' says the LORD of hosts."
Haggai 2:20-23

Zerubabbel was chosen by God to rebuild the temple. He led some 42,000 Jews back to Jerusalem to begin working on the temple.
I love the temples, maybe because they are so hard for me to understand. I have trouble understanding why God allowed them to be destroyed; furthermore, why the Dome of the Rock sits atop King David's altar. I researched this, after I wrote it, and believe it to be true.
I still wonder where the Ark of the Covenant went. God knows everything - He knew there would be a New Covenant with the people. The ones who believe Jesus is His Son. Getting too deep, and don't mean too. Tell God that you love Him.

Note - I am over my temple fixation; I think anyway.

This is a faithful saying:

For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.
If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2:11-13
