But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
2 Timothy 3:1-5
My first question - if we turn away from these people who is gonna be left? I know I had posted this before - I think I have. I get concerned when I post a passage twice. Speaking of which, this makes 150 and 550 overall. I have said that after this book (200 entries) I am done; well, I am done long enough to read all 600 entries.
I can't keep from reading this passage. People loving self and things of this world instead of God. Does any of this sound familiar? Sounds like the news to me. God help us! Tell God that you love Him!
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
